ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

. add that to the lawsuit against tinkler

You can also add this lawsuit against Tinkler http://www.smh.com.au/business/former-aston-chief-seeks-189m-20120412-1wwgn.html Even bigger figures than the FFA one.

Clive better not travel to China anytime soon if this article is anything to go by. http://www.smh.com.au/business/chinese-get-tough-on-foreign-projects-20120412-1wwob.html Sounds like he has been trying to sell ice to eskimos

I'm not going to feel relaxed until the deal is done - for me it's as big or bigger than winning silverware, it's a future guarantee and a chance to keep, and even recruit, some of our best players and staff.

Just lock it in and let us know already!

+1 Everything else pales into insignificance when compared with our financial future.

Does anyone have any idea where we stand if this deal falls tho...

I don't have any inside info but ...

If the FFA are around we will be around. i.e. - it all depends on the next TV deal. The next TV deal supposedly would cover the salary cap or close to it. Given that we are operating at a reported $750,000 loss for the year, all other things being equal, an extra $1M - 1.5M would turn that to a $250,000 - $750,000 profit.

I gather that this does not take into account purported bills for the ATO and Wyong Council. This is where an influx of money would be most helpful in alleviating cashflow problems.

Mate of mine deals with this sort of thing. Looks at deals acts as a broker of sorts for player, coach and ownership deals. Said the deal was dead weeks ago. I sure hope he is wrong. Another source told me a month ago the deal was done! And another mate told me no one knows what is going on! Either way there should of been action months ago. I have seen the investors around the club at the game but no end product.

I can confirm that one of the Russians was in the owners box at the recent ACL match. However, none were in the box last weekend (Russian Easter mayber?).

I dont know if their presence in the box means anything, maybe they're good blokes and PT enjoys their company... I doubt it. Where there's smoke, there's fire. Hopefully the fire hasnt gone out - post Tinkler's recent antics.

Yeah they have been around but the investors are not flying out from Russia they are based in Australia. The off season will be the hardest for CCM ,insurance payments usually help out. They all got paid recently (apparently) so that is good.
