ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

There's constant discussion about that - the 'songs and chants' thread talks about that. discussion about moving to another bay is about that, discussion about getting key members to stand in places other than Bay 16 is about that, talk about how to organise chants, TIFO displays, megaphones, etc etc is all about that.

Its all well and good to say we should do this and that but what i find is this supports club is very very conservitive you can say what you want but its like talking to a wall.

No you weren't - at least from what any literate person could decipher. You made the usual big statement!

Anyway if only 20 out of 150 want to stand and chant for 90+ there is not a lot you can do about it.

We need more drumming. Drumming keeps people in time, going with the sonds, and sounds good around the ground. IMO

The first 20 mins of the last game was the best i had heard the bay for a while. The fact that we were going to get belted, and everyone learnt that very quickly, is probably why it died off.

id say the last 20 was our best tbh, knew we were getting smashed, sang songs to take the piss, had a laugh with mates, HAD FUN at a mariners game for the 1st time in ages

we had that much fun getting pumped, imagine how it would have been if we were the team up 5-0 at full time.....

Epic Mum joke right there but I won't.  :p

Just re-inforcing the fact that I think a lot of us forgot what having fun at the football was like, and relishing the irony that the most fun we've had in a long time at a Mariners game was when we were getting towelled.....

and your attitude is why the bay fails so much... your view of let em do whatever they want is why there is no coordination of the bay/chants/tifo....

to stand in bay 16 you have made a statement that you want to be ACTIVE all game and support your team in a active way...if not guess what there are 30 odd other bays to sit and clap...

Maybe except my attitude was not 'let them do what they want' ...

Another problem is that your idea that to be in Bay 16 requires "stand and chant for 90+" is perhaps more the 'attitude .. why the bay fails so much'.

It isn't the only way, and that is all I am saying.

Thanks for the actual argument at last.

I thought it was funny.(not like someone was running around with it or threw it)

Clearly the game was not interesting and someone decided to make their own fun.

Its time to move on.

blah, blah, blah move on people.
(sorry about the late reply but i've been in europe)
