ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It's incredible and unacceptable that members don't get the option to have the same seats as they have during the regular season - but I'll be there :)

Yes, the home end...but also every season ticket holder. On the other hand, we get the chance to book our seats earlier than the public so if we get our act together there should be no reason why we can't get good seats. I'm just concerned they'll pull the same crap as seasons gone by where they allocate crap seats to the early sales unless you phone and argue with them.

Correct.

There is even talk of moving the gf even if we win the right to host it.

Genius!!! :redcard:

They will. If we win the right to host GF and play Adelaide, Gold Coast or Wellington GF will be at BT.

HOWEVER

If we are to play Brisbane or Melbourne my understanding is that the GF will be played in Brisbane or Melbourne as they will get larger crowds and have more corporate facilities. Meaning more money for FFA.

I can understand going to Melbourne or Brisbane if they play because they will not only get larger crowds but they will have room for larger crowds. I don't like it but I can understand it. Let's face it, they got 40K last year in Melbourne and if Melbourne were playing (I don't think they will be - they'll beat Fold Coast, but not whoever they get after that) I reckon you'd be looking at at least 25K on their own.

Anyway, no point in worrying about that until we get there, if we do. Sudden-death finals are funny beasts and anything can happen, and quite often does.

What a load of shit (from the FFA not you). How are we expected to win a GF when we are unfairly disadvantaged from the start? If we win the right to a home grand final then thats what we should get, no matter who we play. I hope the club doesnt roll over on this one like last time!!

Half empty stadium in Brisbane, no matter who they play there.

If we win hosting rights I could imagine them moving it to SFS, (easy for traveling fans and central for the non committed). However it would not be right,

To move it to the other teams home would be plain wrong and would lose FFA what little cred they have remaining.

Adelaide United got to host the Final of the ACL (Biggest Club Game in Asia) at their 17,000 capacity Hindmarsh stadium.

Though, I do understand, The AFC aren't twats like the FFA.
