Additional Assistant Referee = goal line official. I didn't know anybody was still using this laughably pointless additional to the game.

Their job is only to help with CK/GF, indicating ball over the goal line, and keeper off the line at a PK.

So, he still has plenty of opportunity to f**k us and not cuddle after.

Sat having a coffee in one of the few Melbourne laneway coffee shops that seems to be open in this covid world. Hopeful but not overly confident. Plenty stacked against us. Not enough that we are the smallest club in the smallest market with the smallest budget, also have to contend with most of the squad seemingly in various stages of covid recovery, a ridiculously ill thought out rule that means our potential match winner can't play, and the fact that are playing away.

But we have the best CEO, football director and head coach, and a squad that I have loved watch evolve and develop during the Stacjic and Monty regimes and that defies both it's youth and budget. Win or lose tonight, I will be proud and supportive. Albeit proud and grumpy af if we lose! Bring it on.
