So having done that I expect there will be not enough members to have the match with sound. I am still going for a meal and the game.

Luckily the Mariners have sent around details of their partners who'll be showing the match with sound - Drifters Wharf, Legends Taphouse, Gosford RSL and At Baker Street!

Can't blame the Mariners for supporting the businesses that support the club, and their partners would rightly ask what they're paying for if the Mariners were to promote businesses that aren't partners.

Hotel Gosford looks like a great venue but , nobody owes the pub their support or patronage. It would be tops if they talk to the club and form a partnership.

In the meantime, if the pub doesn't get patrons it might be because (unlike the Superbowl, for which they've had 4 dedicated FB posts advertising that they're doing a tailgate party, etc.) they're not promoting that they're showing our local club playing in the cup final.

So, are the Mariners tickets separate from the away bay seating, or what's happening there?

My understanding from other posts is there's a small number of corporate tickets not in the bay (think corporate box types) but most are in the away bay.

That seems like the likely setup, perhaps Nkololo for Cy based on what we saw last week. Impossible to know how the group is tracking on fitness and covid recovery without insider info though. We'll be in trouble if we're at the same level as last week, I dont think we will be but by how much?

Covid recovery levels is likely to be a factor in selections. Can't see Balard being ready to start. Cy looks nowhere near up to a full 90 atm so agree with starting with Beni and Cy coming on around the hour mark.

Here's a wild thought (especially since he his the poster boy for the "tour" events) but did I read that Simmo is back in training? If he is capable of at least 10 mins then could he be a bench option - to throw on late if we are chasing an equaliser or holding on to a lead?

That screen st Gossy Pub is awesome . Manager put the Cumdog debue game on and it was great until they equalised of course .

Additional Assistant Referee = goal line official. I didn't know anybody was still using this laughably pointless additional to the game.

Their job is only to help with CK/GF, indicating ball over the goal line, and keeper off the line at a PK.

What the actual f**k........ so we're not going with the ref system which has got the comp to this point? And they decide that Kurt f**king Ams is the guy to put in this position. Now I don't want to be the guy that dibo was pointing out before in regards to conspiracy and what not....... but, f**k me that's hard to take seriously.

Anyway, I've got a feeling. The whole Cap'n thing and me see-sawing on Moresche, then getting f**king covid and not being able to go, I reckon we're going to win and Moresche will score the winning goals.
