And I guess Jade North was telling the truth when he said he would honour his North Queensland contract.

And AJohn Aloisi MUST have been telling the truth when he said there was no club in Austarlia he would want to play for other than the Mariners.

i think he'd go pretty well. he's got the whole socceroos going, if i remember correctly he's got a mean throw-in, and if LM gets him on loan like he wants to, we can get someone else for marquee

There's still no news of David Carney finding a new club, he's leaving it very late, considering the earlier report that a number of overseas clubs were interested in him, maybe there's still a chance he could end up at the Mariners.

+1. Deflection took ball heading from one side of the goalmouth to the other. I think there was a bit of a bounce just before the keeper got close to it too. Wonder if the hesitation was planned for that set piece?
