Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Central Coast vs Wellington

Might as well start a thread, seeing as there's already a Brisbane one...

Will be very keen to make up for the loss against Melbourne. Hoping for a similar display to our 3-0 win away.

Is Sainsbury still injured?

Will Bojic's suspension be reduced?

Will Bernie get a call-up with Kwasnik out?

Questions, questions...

Its obvious that the whole forum is behind Bernie. I think that whoever does play up front for us will do well. Mrdja hasn't got a look in under Arnold, so I would be surprised if he is involved at all, certainly not a start. McBreen has a lot to prove after his performances off the bench and I think he will bounce back with a goal or two if given the start. Bernie on the bench wouldn't be a surprise to me.

Going on recent MRP form, the only change to Bojic's suspension would be to add to it. This means Sainsbury will get another chance. Through Ifill, Wellington will be running at him more than the Victory so it will be a good challenge for the young bloke. (I reckon he will be fine to play)

With Adelaide losing today, this is a really important 3 points for us to really stake our claim for top 2.

Last I heard it wasn't as bad as they feared, but I would be surprised if he's back for the 9th?

Mind you it's Rojas atm who has been completely on fire when it comes to running at other teams players.

amini or mcbreen to start in kwasniks place?- wouldnt surprise me if it was amini.
Amini with Bernie on the bench, only question is would amini feel out of sorts up front given he like to cone back and recieve the ball and give it forward.

It has been said quite a lot that the team are not seeing the runs of Perez so who better to get the ball to him than our other playmaker! Simon lead the line, perez roving in behind... may I?

We've played 4-4-2 all year, the 1 time we changed it we played awful, IMO don't change 4-4-2 and start McBreen. McBreen has to fight for his spot again now that Kwas has won it back and this is his opportunity, just like Kwas had and took vs Sydney. Bernie or Mrdja on the bench I guess.

Having Simon and McBreen up front makes us more physical and stronger, could be what we need against players like North, Durante and Sigmund etc.

I'm sure a few of the boys would be itching to get through Danny too, he was always 1 of the jokers here so players like Matty would love to score against him, shame Kwas is suspended because he and Danny are good mates so would have been a good battle.

Agree.

Talk of Perez or Amini up front is just silly. When these guys are on we need them making the play not being on the end of it.

We may actually have a new signing on the bench

This week?

Goes against everything we have done before with new guys. Most have had to proove their worth in trialing not just straight into the team. Must be a tried and tested type if thats the case.

Any chance of a clue.

I love rumours :) Gives me a reason to live. What's better is that Deej actually has some credibility when it comes to these things
