ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Re: Ex Iraqi player.Razorback said:Didn't I hear something about a young Iraqi player ripping up the NSWPL. I saw a feature on the world game about him as well. Is there any news of him trialling with any A league teams?
Also what is happening with the other trialist that we had recently? I was hoping that the Serbs were going quite well. Am I right that we have only signed Travis and Doig?
Marquee said:The Serbian trialists are playing for Bonnyrigg on a 6 week guest stint, which started about 2 weeks ago. Apparently Lawrie wanted to see them more in game situations.

have you seen them play because i really want the inside info on how "good" they are?
marinermick said:-1 for ljubo
he has only played a quarter of games for the jets because of injury or suspension, would want big dollars, and be such a complete dickhead that he would completely ruin the club
he has been utterly and totally unprofessional in his constant quotations in the newcastle herald and posts inappropriate material on the forums he inhabits
this disregard for the club he plays for and lack of respect for his coaches and administration would easily rub off onto team mates
there is a huge difference between a professional dickhead who galvanises team spirit and harmony(ljubo) and an unprofessional dickhead who disrupts team dynamics and harmony(Musc**t/moore)
doig will be that professional dickhead at the back for us
ljubo is mentally unstable and should be no where the mariners
we need to recruit some creativity and mobility, not another ageing injury prone centreback
Razorback said:Why does everyone think Doig is such a hard bastard? Because there's a picture of him with blood on his face... Jeeeesuus! I've seen a picture of Gary Linaker with blood on his face...hardly a hard man

Where did I say "Zomg, they are the bestest players I have ever seen"????
All I said was, "I hope we sign them".. because, y'know, we are kinda in need of players. (and by all accounts they are quite handy on the field)
