ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

Here's an excerpt from Wiki....
Before transferring to Fredrikstad he played for Lillestrm S.K. for 4 years. Before that he played for Brisbane Strikers and Perth Glory in his home country Australia as well as Moss in Norway. It has been rumored that Wehrman is the target of many A-League clubs for the 2008-2009 season. Queensland Roar, Perth Glory, Melbourne Victory and potential new clubs in Townsville and the Gold Coast have made contact with the former Socceroo.

From the Bernabeu to the Central Coast Mariners
Michael Cockerill - June 2, 2009
AN ITALIAN midfielder who once scored a goal against Real Madrid at the legendary Estadio Bernabeu has begun a one-week trial with Central Coast Mariners.
Giorgio Di Vicino is one of six triallists who will be involved in the Mariners' short tour to Queensland at the end of this week as coach Lawrie McKinna begins rebuilding the team following a disastrous conclusion to the last A-League season and a disappointing Asian Champions League campaign.
Di Vicino, 28, has played for 10 clubs in the past 10 years, and was released by Serie C side Pescara during the January transfer window. While on the books of Napoli early in his career, he scored in a pre-season friendly against Real Madrid.
Central Coast have four import spots still available, and will also trial two Serbian players, Vukasin Ristic and Dejan Zivkovic, Englishman Jamie Smith (just released by Crystal Palace) and Welsh midfielder Matt Crowell (on the books of English non-league side Northwich Victoria). Former Australian youth international Rostyn Griffiths is also hoping to earn a contract in matches against Queensland state league side Logan City in Brisbane on Friday night, and against A-League newcomers North Queensland Fury in Rockhampton on Sunday evening.
