ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

ha ha. Did a google to find out what you were on about Dru, and this guy would certainly light up the midfield. He'd have troubles getting a visa due to his criminal record though, but gee, he'd starch up Tiatto, Musc**t & Ljubo (if he lands an A-League gig post-ACL) a heap.

we'll ease any concerns that the government has by giving him accomadation at Mt Penang whenever he isn't training, playing or on an away trip.  ;)

The no DH policy needs to go for starters.

Who cares if they hate each others guts and punch on at training?

As long as they do the business on matchday (as its their job)

Joey Barton to sort out our midfield woes  :eek:verhead:

He has a one year contract with the scum

If we signed Barton, I wouldnt ever have anything to do with CCM again. The man is a criminal and scum.

No DH's is one thing, someone who stabs cigars out in kids eyes is not on. Anyway, his record would stop him getting a visa

Fraid so, this wasnt the assault that he went to jail for either!

Joey Barton will be charged with gross misconduct and fined a Manchester City club record 60,000 for burning a team-mate on the eyelid with a cigar at the players' Christmas party, but the short-tempered midfielder will not be sold.

However, the future does not look quite so secure for his victim, Jamie Tandy, 20, whose involvement in the incident at a bar in central Manchester began when he tried to set fire to Barton's shirt. It is not the first time that City officials have had their patience tested by Tandy, a reserve-team player, and the club are now considering moving him on in the summer.

im a bit confused mariners seem to have no money to spend on a marquee or any player of quality really, i remember reading a few years ago that the mariners were the most financially backed team in Australia, wheres it gone??
Chris Coyne has been rumoured to be joining sydney fc next year, why cant we get him, helps with our defence problems

To look at that from a Mariners perspective is nothing short of disgusting and insulting.  It's going to be a looooooooooong V5.

Transfer window doesnt open in Europe for a while yet - if we get to July and nothing changes, I agree.

We will send you clips all the way to UK so you can share our pain

Are we allowed to use the loan system here ?

And if so does it affect the salary cap ?

A lot of smaller clubs in Europe are using this system to get players in that otherwise they couldn't afford(still on the books and payroll of the lending club).

i was wondering this too, because we may not be able to afford for transfers but if we could get some loan players from some championship teams or a veryvery generous premeir league team then that could help us alot. but it al depends on what the the loan system here is and how that affects the salary cap

Joey Barton is on about 60K per week.  I don't think we can afford him.  He is also a complete Nutter.  His brother got life for murdering a black kid with an axe (because he was black) so he comes from a nice family.
Great player but basically Scum.
Christian Dially would be an excellent signing....superior player to Viddy imho.

Joey Barton was a piss take suggestion, As a Boro supporter I would never want him associated with any club I support, as a human being (quiet all of you) I don't want him anywhere near the coast and think a lot of what he has done is disgusting.
