yeh i  read that in the daily telegraph.
i tend to agree only coz the jets have signed so many players and we have failed to do the same.
not that i would of signed many of the new recruits they have got themselves..

its just a little disappointing from our point of veiw as fans

you realise that they needed to sign that many, because so many had left the club????

Management said there would be a star player(s) brought in for the ACL. From England and a squad player from China. Neither of these has happened and it is a major dissapointment. What is going on in the office? What happened to the 20 guys they supposedly were looking at?

1) A marquee has to want to come here (we dont know who the club has asked do we?)

2) The scum signed a lot of 2nd rate footballers because everyone else bolted - we fill(ed) gaps

3) Had it occurred to anyone that we might not have the money to pay for these international marquee stars?

This isnt FM09 you know, its real life and real football.

I have confidence in Lawrie, PT and LG.  It's not in the clubs (or their own) interests to make us uncompetitive.  It's in everyone's interests for us to have the best squad that we can afford....especially going into Asia.

Rizzo expected to be signed within 24 hours according to smh, I remember watching this guy as a youngster on afew of these oldddd liverpool vhs videos i have, he looked the goods then, not sure whatever happened to him but i remember hating playing against him at Perth, purely because he was an angry little bitch, will be interesting to see what he can bring to the mariners, maybe some spirit and hunger at the very least!
