Whats Coyne up to? I saw a snippet on the World Game a while back and he wasn't getting too much game time. Could be a good signing for our defence and worth chasing IMO
Has only played 11 league games for Colchester this season.

Would love to have him, but for australia's sake i would like him to move to a much better club and league

speaking of Fulham and ACL campaign,
Adrian Leijer loan deal?

is it possible/realistic?

Works for me too - he is being frozen out at CC (by all accounts, thanks Arnoldout) and a loan move to a CCC/League 1 side is most likely.

Better to have him here

I thought Bling were chasing him, not that anyone in their right mind would go there over here.

A reasonable candidate for cult hero IMHO

can confirm he is already on a short list of cult hero's

which include
D MAC
MATTY S
a few others are on trial

DMac is definately high up. If we still had Bozza he would be gunning for it

F*ck off Kwassie, you turned your back on us out of greed and fear of not getting a start. The Nix thought you were crap and you showed your usual skills on the weekend with two or three shots fifteen feet over the cross bar. We are in serious trouble if he is our solution.

i will agree To a certain extent.
but he will add some experience, if we sign him we need other signings to follow

He is likely to be relatively cheap, will gel with the squad/style from day 1 and is a better squad option than a yoof player or Osman.

One of our issues this season has been squad depth - he would help.

Still, dont let that get in the way of a rant against our highest scorer

We can tick Carneys name of the list

Carney's Canary Loan Deal - 442

SOCCEROO Dave Cave Carney's Sheffield United nightmare has come to an end - temporarily - with a loan move to Championship rivals Norwich City.

Norwich boss Bryan Gunn made the out of favour for Sydney FC star his first signing at Carrow Road with a loan deal until the end of the season.

Many of you have probably seen this by now but it certainly looks to me like Lawrie wanted Kwas to be part of the team. That being the case, we need to find a good backup real quick. Although both Kwas & Matty made some monumental F**k-ups last season, both of them created some good space and created opportunities for other players. All comes down to the same discussion that I see in almost every thread - we need some creative players.

Kwasnik jumps ship

25Jun08

Adam Kwasnik has played his last game for the Mariners.

THE Central Coast Mariners had bad news on and off the field at the weekend with another defeat against arch rival Newcastle and the shock departure of a star player.

Attacking midfielder Adam Kwasnik will not play with the Mariners this season after he surprisingly signed with the Wellington Phoenix. It is a major blow for the Mariners.

Kwasnik was regarded as one of the team's most exciting players. After three seasons with the Mariners the former Blacktown player is the club's leading goalscorer after finding the back of the net 19 times in the A-League. He was a regular coming off the bench in season one before forcing his way into the starting side for the past two seasons.

"It's really disappointing and came as a real surprise," Mariners coach Lawrie McKinna said after Saturday's 1-0 trial defeat against Newcastle at Budgewoi.

"We had agreed to terms with Kwas but the contract hadn't been signed. He's obviously got this offer from New Zealand and thought it was a better way to go. It's not the best news but we have to move on."

It is believed the offer from the Phoenix was much more than that of the Mariners.

Although the Mariners have ample wide-running players, McKinna said a replacement for Kwasnik was required.

"We'll have to look for someone but there is no rush," he said.

Kwasnik's departure is the latest in a string of changes from last season's squad.

Then please educate us by giving the Adam Kwasnik side of the story.
