ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

that is where the rumour linked to us is from.

442 is full of crap, why dont we just start a new thread "442 shit that will never happen" and post all their crap in there?

Harry Kewell has probably been mentioned but it would be great to see him playing for us. His contract expires at the end of this year and I doubt he will stay at Liverpool.. Possibility?

IMO no!

I doubt he will infact ever play in the A-Leauge, and even if he does, I doubt it would happen next season.

Read in the paper today Liverpool probably not gonna offer another contract.

I think it'd be more likely for Harry to wait until there is a western Sydney team before he comes back..

I cant see him returning to play in Western Sydney, IMO hell be at Sydney or Quensland for the lifestyles if and when he ever returns.

Can't see him at Sydney. Kewell offered to fund an Academy out of his own money for the rival Sydney bid. The FFA encouraged him to transfer that offer to SFC but he baulked because of the personalities involved.

in the 3 years since though there wouldnt be a soul remaining form the initial bid though surely?

Kewell was unhappy that SoccerNSW were part of the bid.

He came out and said that he'd never associate his name with anything that had SoccerNSW involved.

So unless they've gone, no Kewell for SFC IMO.

There we go then Andy, maybe we could start a rumour that Kewell will pledge his Australian future to the Mariners.

McMaster wouldn't make the academy IMO. Des Giraldi has a better chance.

I don't understand why a guy (Harry) with a wife and kids (?) would want to live in Sydney for the lifestyle. Terrigal would be heaps better.
