Yeah it is a fair way to go on loan. Plus the players had no real record on what they were looking at in terms of being looked after. After a few more years established, and a few more pieces of silverware, maybe the Sheffield players might wanna come over.

Play him in the correct position and he would be the best winger in the HAL, was awesome in V1 but got found out in V2.

Thats the reason he would not be the best winger in the HAL, cos everyone already knows his tricks. There are other players in the HAL, and even at the mariners, who would start over him IMHO

he was actually found out earlier than season 2

browny pawned him in the third game we played against sydney season one and he was useless in the grandfinal against heff

it actually only took urawa half a game to work him out in the acl

i stand by the theory that he only plays well against teams that he have not played against and by coaches who have not done their homework

Carney scored the equaliser in that game.....he will learn more overseas....useless talk anyway as he won't be back in Oz for a few years anyway IMO
