Well the person starting the rumour made the same mistake as me as anything past TEXAS is south American ...
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
But most of middy’s logic still holds, just need the South American rumour to be a little off.Hate to burst your bubble but Costa Rica is Central America
Imagine how much easier he’d be to appreciate as a player absent Harper’s fawning commentary. What’s Carlos Hernandez doing these days anyway and could he lose forty kilos in two months?

Brian Ruiz would tear this comp apart with his free kicks alone. He is 36 just maybe a tad old
But a sweet left footHe is 36 just maybe a tad old
That's how I feel about Muller. I think he's a good player but my god Harper drools.Imagine how much easier he’d be to appreciate as a player absent Harper’s fawning commentary.
Only middygard should be moreBut most of middy’s logic still holds, just need the South American rumour to be a little off.
if you become a god middy. You will rule middygard.
Would have to be a striker then unless we're going to have 2 visa players competing for the same spot or only play one holding midfielder.Reading Shaun’s comments it seems any new import will be in the attacking third.
Mueller is 34. Where are we playing him LW or or CAM? Beni can play either side as can Cy apparently. Do we bring in a another CAM and play Mueller on the left leaving Beni to be the replacement as Mueller tires. Equally if the CAM tires or is injured Mueller can move to CAM and Beni come on at LW.Would have to be a striker then unless we're going to have 2 visa players competing for the same spot or only play one holding midfielder.
Plenty of pine for Simon I feel.Mueller is 34. Where are we playing him LW or or CAM? Beni can play either side as can Cy apparently. Really it depends how we line up - if we are playing two strikers then it looks like a striker to partner Marcos.

That's where my money is. I still think Simmo has a part to play but it would be a gamble not to have another seasoned striker in case he fades this season. We'd be in big trouble at the moment if Marcos gets injured as well.it looks like a striker to partner Marcos.
Seems to fit the requirements?!!Is it too much to ask for a box-to-box midfielder that will provide close to double digit assists and is a dead eye set piece specialist?
Simon is the guy you bring on at 80 minutes when you are 1-0 up away to the scum. The bloke to get a yellow, run it into the corner and just be an absolute shitThat's where my money is. Go back and look at last seasons goals, Simon has still got it or at least did last season. He can finish well if he's fit enough to get into position. Definitely slowing up though, could be a good goal hanger this season with our hopefully much improved passing and crossing from the visas.
