ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I’m sorry I still can’t believe this isn’t getting more attention.
@Shaun Mielekamp can we please have an update on how gianni’s move came about? I know you can’t say exact figures but was it decent? Sell on %’s? Was it on the cards before the Olympics?
it’s such a good move for him. And Jing Reec too, I’m sad we didn’t see more of him in the senior side.
I agree.
It's almost like.

Oh, and by the way Stens got noticed after dying his hair blonde and is off to Scandinavia.

Listening to Monty it sounds like the players to come in will be from the NPL. He said he believes there are options there better than players trying to return from OS. With his experience coaching against these teams I think he knows who will fit his plans. Problem is getting them in to trial in the current lockdiwn.
That's right for a few positions.

If you push Hall to RB where he played a bit last year (to compete with Miller) there are certainly a number of good CBs in the NPL. GKs as well (backup) will also likely come from there. We still have a few spots to fill and most will probably come from the various NPLs

I still think that a strike partner for Marco will probably need to come from OS or Maty will need to have another golden boot year. Another wide player as well would not go astray.

Oh great. So we get rid a proven AL level player in Casella to bring in NPL hopefuls. Pure Mariners genius.

They’re almost polar opposites, Stens was all work and muscle while he is more of a playmaker.
Absolutely but it wasn’t him as a direct replacement but wether there is room in the midfield.
Nizzy slips into stens and Baumjohann more advanced to take over Nissy wider right or left depending on which side Muller wants.

Baumjahann Muller Nizzy Oli backed up by the NPL kid who played a game or two (name escapes me)

just quietly loving that monts is the boss now, what a legend. I hope he’s able to get the players in that he really wants.

Oh no doubt Michael. Charlesworth will back him to the hilt in every possible way........as long as it doesn't cost ANY money or effort.

I didn't swear about c**tsworth once last season but this year I can feel a tourettes style commentary coming on. Hopefully we sign some quality and I can play nicely again.

As I said in the stadium thread.
IF, if the council wankers get the stadium tender or anyone but the Mariners really.
That could be the end of keeping the Mariners on the coast. Then I'm sure you'll be swearing a lot more.
