Looks like we need a new keeper ... but for Danny I think it is the right move... I have always believed he is the next Socceroo keeper ... to prove this he needed to go to Europe ... a very very very sad lost for us ... however aside from the season he returned after his send off IMO he has shown amazing skills... for mine anyway the best in the A-League .... good luck to him...

getting stuck here the last couple years after the GF incident may have hurt his prospects in the pecking order for now, though I do think he's a good enough keeper to get there one day.  Certainly interesting to see where this next crop of keepers gets to.

It is absolutely the best thing for Vukovic, a true Mariners great; I hope it ends up in a Socceroo career for him, he needs to take the next step. It was always going to happen which is why I thought it was a mistake to let Redmayne go to the Roar (for first team football as promised by Ange but then he signed Theoklitos so maybe we can persuade them to let us have our goalkeeper back?) I doubt Ryan is quite ready yet, I've no idea who would be available in the market

Mmm....Under 20's was 5 years ago.....playing second tier football in Argentina?? Are we to believe Arnie has spotted something that has so far gone unoticed or (the more likely scenario) he's no bloody good?.....more than happy to eat humble pie on this one however as a bit of South American flair would be a welcome addition to Bluetounge for sure!
