Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Is this the return of Wilson at his best or a troll?

Either way... Will watch a game or two of Brown before I decide if someone can play... usually find that helps ;)

But could have just been a VERY basic poo joke. Jest fan perhaps?

Then thanks for interpreting.

Sorry Wilsons, but some "poo" specifics would be nice. (As already requested)
Otherwise the post is just depressing and inflammatory.

This post is a bit off topic, shld be "Mariners Squad 2025/26 HAL", but that hasn't been started yet. Some young ones start their ambition early - a few months ago, my grandson (age 4) while at Pluim watching his older cousin play a GF with Woy Woy 13B, was asked who he would play for next year when he was old enough, Woy Woy or Umina? Without hesitation he replied "Mariners".
That's what we want, get 'em young!

Rumours/scuttlebutt abound of a Welsh player at FB at training on Friday - unlikely to be Brown I suspect as he is a winger. Any truth to this?

Also, is it time to revise the lists?

CONTRACT EXPIRES END OF SEASON 2009/10:

#2) Matt Crowell (Fgn) - Bye bye
#3) Shane Huke - get fit and keep
#9) Nik Mrdja - keep
#11) Dylan McAllister - bye bye
#15) Andrew Clark - Retire
#21) Ahmad Elrich - Back to park football
#22) Nicky Travis (Fgn) - wont stay

So by my reckoning, thats 7 players out and 1 in so far (McBreen) and Panni in senior squad.

Assuming Wee Mac goes after the WC then we have room (by my maths) for 6 new players.

I would promote Sherlock from the yoof team leaving 5 spots.

Crying need for full backs a creative MF and at least 1 more striker

From my understanding we only have 12 players signed for next season.

*Wilko
*Hutch
*Danny
*Porter
*Doig
* Kwasnik
*Redders
*Simon
*Lewis
*WeeMac
* Bojic
*McBreen

This leaves LM with many options. Can't see any of the overseas players hanging around. Elrich, Huke and DMAC may not be around.

This asks the question of Mrdja and if he has done enough.

Squad needs new fullbacks, Midfielder and Strikers. Club needs to have a marquee.

Also we will need to offer youth contract as Redders and Lewis stay as Nikas cannot.

Raving nutcase and quality footballer.(Report edited for accuracy)............

http://www.smh.com.au/sport/a-league/jets-take-pressure-off-milicevic-20100109-lzu2.html

Scum coach Branko Culina says he is happy to let seasoned defender Ljubo Milicevic wait until season's end to decide whether to re-sign with the scum.

Milicevic has been linked to new A-League franchise Melbourne Heart and Culina said recently he would be ''gutted'' if the former Socceroo left the scum to join a rival club.
