Hey guys,

Travelling GCU fan here..Cant wait for this game! Its going to be closely fought i think and whoever goes through will do well in the finals! Either way even if CCM win, i will be there for the final.. anything to cheer against the orange twats from Brissy.

Any idea what pax is for the game yet?

Griffiths hasn't ever played CB for us though, has he? I think it's the better option but when we've been in this situation before, Arnold has always opted for Sainsbury or the Doig option.

Good call Mick!! I think you`re spot on the money. :goodpost: :goodpost:

Yeah I think thats a very good solution.

Jenkins, Don't know pax yet, like most if not all members, bought tickets monday...
so there's no real point knowing pax at that stage...

I'd predict 14K.
Though the "official" numbers may not match that. ::)

Last game in the short period it took me to get through the turnstiles, I saw 4 or 5 people who's ticket wouldn't compute get let through. The reported crowd was at least 3k off imo.

Anyhow, can guarantee that it will be a great atmosphere!!
And better if we are winning of course ;D

Thanks for dropping by and hope you enjoy the game but not the result ;)

Best

Yes i can relate to the ticketing system being pretty bogus, but as long as the atmosphere is good and theres people there, what does it matter hey?

Pax is usually out by a couple of thousand anyway but it gives a fair idea of what it will be like!

Anyway, bring on the 3am bus :D

I'm expecting Sainsbury to start; I have my doubts about the fitness of Matty Simon, at best he will be on the bench. Once again, if we are up for it, we will win . Getting tense already, it's going to be a great night

As Mick suggested is how they've been lining up at training, it will be a risk considering Griffiths hasn't play CB all year (last time was when he was at NQLD) but he is a midfielder who sits in the hole a lot and will slot in I'm sure, GA actually originally signed him as a CB. Hutch in front of him will have a big role to play, we'll lose the variation of passing from DM which Griffiths offers but don't be surprised to see Rose utilised a lot on the left.

As long as rose doesn't leave huge gaps in the defence like he did an the second half of ROAR game 2

He had to as we were chasing the third goal, even at two nil down.

I suspect that Rose will play a very attacking role leaving us with three centre backs and therefore effectively playing with a back three.

Exciting times if Arnie goes for this formation and he sees obvious defensive frailities for Gold Coast out wide.

Lovely set of shots - all look focussed and having fun.
Bluetongue looks so perty in the morning - who wouldn't like to go to "work" there?

Seems like some penalties practice (pics from 49 - 61), guess Arnie would leave no stone unturned. Hope it doesn't happen - but which 5?

Going by the photos above (taken on 3.3.11) Matty was sitting in the stands. That`s not good!

i love the Kwaz but he would make me feel the pressure when he takes the shot... i think he could choke

1.Perez, 2.Simon/Mcbreen, 3.Dutch, 4.Wee Mac, 5.Hutch

Brought my tix at 4pm and pax said 6168.

I hope that is wrong.

My selection:

---------------Ryan
Sains-----Wilks-----Dutchy-----Rose
-------------Griffiths
---McGlinchey---------Bozanic
---------------Perez
---------Kwas-------McBreen

Reasons:

We lose too much when Hutcho is in middle.
Wilko was only very average at RB and is needed in the middle.
Kwas and McBreen both deserve to start again after good games last week.
