ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Boogs had the Osteo Pubis, which reminds me of playing "BUZZ" on PS3 at Grunta's place a few weeks back.

He's created a topic with Q's on the "The greatest Football Club in the world CCMFC" which people can access via the internet function on a PS3.

Question: How did Mariners defender Nigel Boogard injure his Osteo Pubis? Was it:

A) Pleasuring his Girlfriend
B) Pleasuring Himself
C) Getting off the Team Bus
D) Answering the Phone

heaps more piss funny questions about lawrie's dog's name, David Dapuzzo's scummer  brother, Whos "here, there and every fcking where"? etc, worth a play/download if have the game online on your PS3

If it is a flare up of his Osteo Pubis injury from the start of the season he could be out for a while.

he had a groin injury earlier in the season, not osteo pubis
Mile did have have Osteo Pubis!
What were you saying Mick in another thread about people posting things and being continually proven wrong... pot calling the kettle black maybe?

mate, i can assure he picked up a groin injury in socceroos camp and has been struggling ever since

one article does not make it true, but speaking to the club and player does

Could they be using Layman terms by any chance? I have said that I have a sore groin when in fact I have a hip flexor injury

Well..........if you read through the press releases over the seasons and can recall talking to some of these players, everyone would be 'back in 4 weeks, no problems mate, just a little niggle'. That sort of info has been dished up to us supporters since Nik FIRST injured his knee.

I concede that often the players and the club do not know the full extent of an injury after it first occurs (and some misdiagnosis along the way too) but they (club & player) have sometimes played us as fools with the 'back soon' reason.

perhaps - osteo pubis is more serious and maybe the club wants to play it down

all the game previews from the FFA and the Mariners have said groin as did Mile

will investigate

most of the injuries coming out of the mariners camp have been listed as indefinite these days

makes it even more frustrating

Prefer it that way rather than getting your hopes up at seeing a player back in the next week or so.
On the good news, I noticed Greg Owens has been getting some gametime, so sooner or later, and not barring any further injury, he'll strike some form. Will put some pressure on both Caceres and Hutch for a spot, which is good.

media manager for the mariners has confirmed it is a groin injury and not osteo pubis
