Amini bound for Europe

Couldn't be bothered if we loose out on a transfer fee, just glad we get to see him starting for another year and hopefully the ACL too.

What does concern me is how devastating it would be for the youngster to miss out on a big move at the end of next year. I will really be hoping he tears it up this year.

My new kit will have his name on it and I'm getting a red wig.

Musty = bums on seats + sponsorship $$$

And as for his contribution on the field next season, what better incentive is there to tear up the league than knowing at least one of the biggest clubs in the world is VERY interested in signing you up.

It's extremely important for the Mariners to back up last season's success with another solid season next year. They need to create a winning culture and get rid of that ridiculous tag of the underdogs, the little club that could, etc

As for the name on the back of my new shirt, I'm torn between Amini and Dutchy

Great news; unfortunately this now means that the marketing dept hasn't the dollars to promote the club...

Who knows we could possibly extend his contract this year?? he may do it out of gratitude for the opportunity given to him by GA and CCM.....please Musti

. only chance of that is if the germans (and others) lose interest ... can't see him jeopardising any 2nd chance at a big club signing

. welcome back musty ... may all your disappointments be washed away with a sublime season and a determination to make the next deal even bigger

Musty, Your far better of playing another year of great football in a great Australian football team, surrounded by fans that love you, commentators that love you... building your profile till you can command the money you deserve and the stronger chance at game time you will get.

Was the Dortmund a 1 year deal? Doubt it.
An extra 90K right now may seem like a lot... But in a year form now when your sold for 3 time that much, you'll be 180K in front by my reckoning...

And who knows, dominate the A league, and it may be much better again...

Dominate the reserves in Dortmund...? Seems less unlikely, and less likely still that in one year in Dortmund they'd be considering a big transfer fee or wage increase for him...

But after another stellar season in the HAL? $405K definitely sounds achievable.

No. Another year here is clearly the best option unless something truly exciting or lucrative comes up.

135k? What a joke.

HIs agent is a short sighted, trouble causing imbecile. This doesn't match with Musty warm easy going nature and persona that is attracting fans and building his profile.

For him, that's no bad thing. The club might have made a calculation that his value here is greater than the lost value from accepting too low a sale price. That also means no on-sell clauses etc.

But clubs looking at him a year from now will have a certain budget for that sort of player. For Musty that means that he doesn't have to share that with the club via a transfer fee, it can all be wages.

Hooray, hooray, Dortmund gets the super-talent with the red hair!

Football Pumuckl Mustafa Amini (18) is satisfied BVB coach Jürgen Klopp (43) in the sample training in March (BILD reported). Result: The Australian U-20 national team with the fiery red curly hair is now Borusse.

Borussia Dortmund manager Michael Zorc (48) to BILD: "We have the Central Coast Mariners made a new offer for Mustafa. We are confident that we can agree now ... "

Champion Klopp brings Pumuckl!

250 000 € Dortmund must release to the Australian Vice-champion Central Coast Mariners pay. Just a few weeks ago, the A-League club from Gosford (50 km north of Sydney) more than twice requested. Meanwhile, there has leadership changed and the club used a rethink.

Dortmund gets the football Pumuckl!

Down Under is the strong-running midfield technicians already become a cult figure.

Amini: grin: "My hair is naturally pure. Our games are the fans in the stadium even red wigs. "

Not at all imagine, will look how crazy the south stand (25 000 fans), if in the future will break out the wigs fever ...

Amini (mother from Nicaragua, Afghan father) says: "The BVB is an indescribable club with an incredible coach. I really want to go there! "

Now the football dream is probably true. Klopp on the "kicking goblin": "The boy is a huge talent!"

Hooray, hooray, Dortmund gets the super-talent with the red hair.

Will only believe it when the club releases a statement. Article only states they are confident they can agree. Also what is the BS regarding a leadership change? Here or at BD?

Unfortunately it is inevitable a fee will be agreed and Musti will move on. How the Mariners replace him is the serious question - with Perez and Amini gone the creative spark, the little piece of magic, will also be gone. It is a pity that Aaron Mooy has already signed for St Mirren. Perhaps we will now have the money to bid for Flores?

I think this would be a great buy for us.It will be ashame to see Amini leave but what a great replacement Flores. I rate him better then Perez.

Why not do what we did last time? Grab another livewire junior (if any) and snag a creative guy from South America. Rinse, lather, repeat.

I am pretty happy with the young stars at the club but getting a new South American would get me all in a lather! One of the stories has said that Dortmund would allow Amini to play for CCM until the January transfer window so he wouldn't be lost altogether. That would mean I would have time to onsell the red wig to a German fan and then get the name on my shirt changed from Musti to Bernie...
Already this season is building as a real test of Arnie's coaching skills; all good as far as I am concerned :)

As long as they actually replace him, I'm happy....

I have a terrible feeling that Pellegrino will slot in there, be substituted for Hutch at the 65th minute (or vice versa) and Arnie will leave it at that, I really hope i'm wrong :(
