Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I love the suggestion and TBH almost totally agree. Roof over us would be awesome too, in terms of amplifying the sound. It's a far better idea than song sheets or even having 'plants' in certain bays to amp people up IMO.

There may be some issues with security etc as Bay 16 is the designated 'Active Support Bay' and I don't know how keen they would be on having us near the 'family' areas etc.

I'll have a word with the club and a couple of YA peeps and see what we can do for next time.

Gutted I couldn't be at this one. f**king man-flu is kicking my arse. Almost got there as well.

As always, love your posts mate.

That's brilliant PP. Really hope the club facilitates this. With the low crowd numbers, surely they have very little to lose by designating an active support bay in the Eastern grand stand, and much to gain.

Optimally you guys should be right bang in the middle imho. These Wednesday night games are our least most family oriented crowds, and if we all want a large active support, they really need to pullout the stops in getting behind you guys. Hopefully they will. For the rare ruffled parent out there, the added atmosphere and value it would bring could surely only help with our meagre ticket sales and game day experience. Not to mention an important twelfth man for the team.

Get well soon mate.

Best

Hey Peter , how about for the nextACL game you divide your troops in half, & deploy one lot to the east & the other lot to the west.
I think the east side would easily out sing the west side.:overheadl:

I didn't make the game due to work and another drama.

I thought we were well worth the win and Weemac was MOM.

Good confidence booster going into the finals.

No brainer.......Im positive the the east side would easily out sing the west side seeing as though no one is allowed in the west side

My guess at the lineup...

-----------------------Ryan------------------------
Morton --- Sainsbury --- Anderson --- Griffiths
-------------- pele --------Hutchinson ------------
--Ibini ------------ Caceres ----------- Bozanic--
--------------------- Duke --------------------------

Tactical subs, Fitzgerald 1st, McDonald 2nd, Neal and Pasfield only if required

Ooomph... I thought Pele did reasonably in the Number 10 role... Reasonably being, missing the pass was much less likely to lead to them scoring, so I think I'd prefer him up there if he HAS to start.

Personally, I'm hoping more for something like this:

-----------------------Ryan------------------------
Morton --- Sainsbury --- Anderson --- Griffiths
------------- Bozanic --------Hutchinson ---------
----Ibini ------------ Caceres ----------- Fitzy -----
--------------------- Duke ---------------------------

Although I'm not sure about Fitz starting... But then again, that's probably why I'm not a coach... This way Pellers could come in for Caceres if need be.... I know nothing about McDonald and Neal too so there...

Like your thinking, with amendments. A north\south sing-off would a great idea. North - "Who do you sing for? South - "We sing for yellow", etc.

That's actually a pretty strong lineup. Shows how much depth is in our squad. And also the work gone in to make the whole squad quality. Well done Arnie and coaching staff.

Ya, I have to say... Looking at how much faith the Victory fans seem to be putting in our having to travel, I'm thinking/hoping that they'll be disappointed... Except perhaps, for Hutch, I don't think any of those players should have a huge issue with backing up a couple of games... Especially not with the potential replacements here and there for the weekend.
I'm reasonably happy with the lineup although I missed Morton's debut game and so, am not quite sure what to make of him. As a whole, on general feedback, I too would be fairly happy with a lineup like that, I think it would be quite competitive at the very least. Although I think we'll be missing WeeMac, based on his performance last week.
Perhaps that's a good thing though - this many changes compared to the last thing could turn out to be a good thing... Make the team less predictable for the Chinese.

20 mins in and we are looking pretty good.

Fitzy and Pelle are looking a bit ordinary but everyone else is playing well.

Shit house penalty and scary that Hutcho didn't put his hand up to take it.

We now have this in the bag if we continue to press them.

Get up Pelle u pussy!

Dunno, if a forward can't take it, who can? Still a crap pen, but who cares? That's two in a row ;)

Sheesh Pellers looks poor :( I think Fitz mainly looks avg because he is playing off Pellegrino... I feel bad stating that too as he seems like a nice fella, but geez... No ball control... :(
