Still had a bit of fun despite the game. Had a small group of bout 20-30 behind goals, not best performance but still made a fair bit of noise.
Agreed.

How did Rapid Lampada look from a distance?? (where we through shirts/scarves etc in the air)

you guys are are bunch of dickheads nik was on for 5 min how can you rate his game. What in the hell did Matty do for 80 min of the game. Get your head out of you arses. The last 5 min of the game was the best part. Overall a shit game we need to improve if we are going to win.

moreover remove the inconsistency

I'm sorry, but a player who is injury prone and failed to produce the few times when he hasn't been injured, how can Mrdja be anything other than a liability draining money from the club?

Well, Got back this arvo.

I think the only winner out of this was canberra tourism.
If thats the way the Mariners are going to play in Canberra I dont see my self going to another away game, even when they play in Scumcastle.

I liked the sign about Graham Park you guys held up as the teams ran on.
I thought the ref was a twat.

Finally: Who ever it was that got forcefully removed from the Moosehead, I saw some blonde knock off your scarf and bolt inside, I went looking for her to try and get it back for ya but I lost her. Sorry Dude.

Apparently pre sales are better than against perth, and they are expecting 7k. According t the cock

Weird because publicity has been next to zero.

My brother, who lives in Canberra, didn't even know it was on until I rang him this week.

Now, now. I saw advertising! It just happened to be for the Perth game. At the Adelaide game. In the women's bathroom. The same rest rooms where there was shit smeared all over the bathroom floor. Tasty.

How good was it to see hef back to form. Ran up and down that left touchline alnight but defensively is still someone I cringe at and was worried that leckie was going to skin him but hef did good job. I know it was two points lost but what truly pissed me off was when crowell got sent his barriage at the 4th official probably made u feel good for 5 secs but u will be out for an extended period of time. It is pointless arguing with refs and linesmen as they are never wrong on the field and if they were they would never admit it.

I'd say it's even more pointless arguing with the guy who doesn't have much to do with the onfield decisions :p

Guess we'll find out soon enough if anything particularly bad was said, or even if it'll get reported.

Have to say I agree with Krusty and Sean on this one.
I think Sean's description of the game is exactly what I saw.

I also was not happy with Matty and was not surprised and thought he deserved Lawrie's serve.
He was the one sloppy with his offside positioning, touch was poor several times and gave away possession, and also - and most importantly for mine - was not bending or following his runs through for very far. This makes the workable space too small, too easy to track and defend. I still think he tried hard and had some decent moments - but when I watched Rudan outpace him it was a bit depressing.

On a positive note, Crowell (poor decisions Williams!) continues to impress, and Travis was quality. Pedj was also solid though he made some errors, more quality work than failures and lends weight to the 4231 I think...

On the negative - while he had a solid game, I still think Hutch wide left can be more positive.

We need a striker to step the hell up or sign someone, or tight low scoring games and draws will be the rest of our season.

MOM... Travis fantastic second half... but was only 45... Crowell was great till sent, Wilko Boogs Doig all excellent... But I'm giving it to Heff this week.

Defended solidly and made some great runs, there's been talk about it, but he looks to be finally coming back to his full form again for me.

If we can just find an alchemist to turn Mrdjas boots from lead to gold, we;ll give it a real shake. Otherwise... mid table tight scraps a plenty, with winning results too dependant on other teams form and errors for my liking.

Good summary.  In spite of the detractors I was keen to see Nik get a better run than he did. I thought he did okay in the short time he had. He was called twice for offside - when he wasn't and then was let go when he was clearly offside. The linesman on the eastern side was clearly playing with his mind.

I was happy with him shooting even if it was straight to Galekovic. Before that we seemed to want to walk the ball over the line. It's all very well having some nice build up play - but someone still needs to kick the ball into the net.

P.S That was a long way to go for a home game

I dont understand playing Crowell , Pedj and Hutch at the same time. However it exposed the poor descision of not starting Pedj against Newcastle. Our back 6+ danny did the job but we were lacking anyone willing to drill the ball at the net (untill Crowell)

Did notice a little bit of second half frustration between the boys when Doig gave it to Matt for being back in midfield. And Matt didn't like it.
