ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Gan hasnt yet signed with SFC according to their MB ?

Well worth chucking some money at I would have thought

Well I watched over the hols an old recording from "Football Stars of Tomorrow" from back early NSW PL season when he was featured as having just broken through into Sutherland Sharks first team - comment was made that Central Coast Mariners were interested - don't know if that was true.

we could have had him this season but only offered a youth contract
That was my first thought ... he would have had trouble fitting in our crowded midfield list, unlike the gaping whole in the Smurfs.

Gan has already accepted a professional contract to continue playing at Sydney next year. His cousin told me so himself.

And if I had to choose between Gan or Caceras, it would be Caceras every day of the week for me.

Aloi$i might be sacked from Sydney. Would we take him back as a squad player for ACL?

with fergie now gone from our club and the possibility of mrdja and petrovski not being around it may be an option

an option i wouldn't take personally

He wont be sacked LOL

SFC would have to pay him out.

More likely go "on loan" for a season

I think you mean "injured"

Just like he was "injured" last weekend

hes actually not bad in the middle of defence, i think he relies on his positional awareness to counter his lack of pace, but out wide he gets skinned, depends how van egghead plays him

He wont be too bad in the centre of defence but hopefully he wont be played out wide since we have either d'apuzzo or thomo in that role.

will have to agree to disagree on that one

IMO he is below par from most of the other centre backs in the league (og, corth, moore, wilko, griffiths, north, mckain, vargas, harnwell, muscat, pedj etc)

Every league has a worst player and no matter who it is, they are probably very happy to be getting paid to play football and not working a 9-5 job. hth.

oh god I am so happy at this one.  Hyphen is crap....I was so worried at reports late last year that the Mariners were looking at him.  I rate Hyphen one of the worst A-league players around and cannot understand why his name and the national team are even whispered in the same breath.  Now I won't have to sell my Mariners shirt and can go on laughing at Newcastle, especially when they give comments like this one "With the departure of Jado we have room in our defence for a quality player  :piralaugh:. At this stage things look pretty favourable, but I do not want to say too much until he has signed on the bottom line."
