ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Sydneys away support at the Scum is dreadful. 100 maybe?

. Only put it on just before Sydney scored and that was one of my first thoughts.

Who wants to go to Newcastle?
Probably scared they might catch scurvy (or worse) off the locals.

Sunday evening is a *shit* time to have to pull a day trip. Out of the house at 2-ish to get to the game in some reasonable time to have a bite pre-match, stick around for the game, leave a bit after 7, get home around 9.

That's a shit way to spend a day.

It's worse by public transport too. The day after the 2007 election a mate and I dragged our happy but *monumentally* hungover arses on the train up to the game to watch a f**king dire contest. We were on a train at something like 1-ish and didn't get home until well after 10 - we'd have been much better served watching it in a pub.

Better served but soft. That trip gets you respect......and like PP, eggy and the hardy crew from bay 16....you help get our club respect. Sitting in the Ancient Briton is weak but the easy option.
My wife makes sure i take the easy option as much as she can lol.
I got the away game leave pass up to Scumville maybe I can get a Driveby or Bling game as well....which is more fun?? Been to the land of the Parra twice but only grand finals at Bling so far.

Jets beat Perth last night 2-1 but should have been 5 or 6. Reddy made 11 saves and Perth wee horrible. They are stuffed without Castro

At least AU are keeping us off the bottom this week but Roar are in good form which is worrying for us this Sunday.

That's the problem with hiring a 34 year old marquee though...

Those talented but fringe foreign players still with a few of their best years left like... Berisha, Fornaroli, Martinez, Dutchy, Roy, Monty (was at the least)... that's where it's at. Hoping Okon is well connected and has a bunch of players/targets in mind already.

Matt Simon cited for his shoulder charge the other night, he may be in big trouble. Will be interesting as I consider just as bad as Roy's misdemeanour last year. But this is SFC so probably just a slap on the wrist.

Given MC's desire to not spend, there wont be anyone who makes that lis

Not sure it was as bad as Roy to be fair, red if the ref saw it though (and he didnt play for SFC)

I really don't think there was all that much in Simon's shoulder.
It was a cheap shot, people complain about diving and I feel just as strongly about cheap shots. Fully intentional and needs to be punished.

Agree that it was a cheap shot, but it was nowhere near the same level as O'Donovan's headbutt. Far less danger of injury to the other player, far less aggressive intent shown.

Don't get me wrong Roy deserved what he got for his brain snap, would be content with 2-3 weeks for Simon.

Josh Rose started and was taken off in the 61st minute for Manny Muscat for Melbourne City with Nick Fitzgerald coming on in the 80th minute for Bruce Kamau and Anthony Caceras an unused substitute. Mitch Austin is unavailable for selection for Melbourne Victory with a knee injury.

Liam Reddy and Roystn Griffiths start for Perth Glory along with Danny Vukovic and Alex Wilkinson for Sydney FC.
