Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Brisbane did well changing up there style to frustrate City and hit on the counter.

I'd like us to do something similar when we face them. Play a standard 442 then change shape later to go for it.

Roar should have killed the game off in the 2nd half.

The Spanish winger looked good in his 5mins but had to sweet passes and looked quick.

But why buy a left winger, when you have tommy oar?

Tommy got split open big time.
Caceras looked ok but lightweight as usual.
Fitz was pathetic. Once they brought those two on Bris were able to close out the match.

Bugger, now we have got to get at least a point tomorrow or we're last....again. The one time I don't want the scum to lose....

Just makes it easier to catch them. Our goal this season is to not be last and make sure Jets are below us.

How annoying was Sydney winning last night. The way they Carried on over the penalty was pathetic. Most obvious penalty you will ever see and whinged hard core and then getting in Barisha's face after was just so unprofessional.

I think that was just as bad as Kilkenny rolling on the ground after his facial.

Can't believe Rojas and Barisha missed those shots. Should have been 3-0 and game over.

Austin was good in 1st half unfortunately but never saw him in the second.

Sydney were killing them in the 2nd but took a massive handball. To be fair defender missing header and going in front may have not helped. No players went up in real time which is usually a sign it wasn't easy to spot.

Scum have looked ordinary the last few weeks and seem to be a one man team with Nabbout sparking then when he came on. Same as last year if I recall they started the season well and then faded very quickly. Nux still didn't look all that convincing and with Merrick starting to bench players things are not all roses over the ditch I feel. Bring on Canberra this has to be a great chance for 3 points. Don't know how but I felt sorry for MV last night and would have loved to see SFC try and come back from 3 down which it should have been at HT. Agree that the SFC players response to the Pen was terrible and the hand ball was very difficult to see in real time speed and it wasn't until the replay that it was noticed unlike a certain hand ball last week by the drive bys. I have a bad feeling we will be last come 7pm tonight. There was an interesting stat yesterday before the Nux game that showed even after last year the Nux have worst stats than us over the last 24 months!

HAL a great comp just look at the results this week, I know it's been said before but there are no easy games in the HAL and we are helping cement this statement. C'mon Perff.

That was a great game to watch though Perth very unlucky to lose. Watched all the games in the A-League this year and there hasn't been a bad game!

I think it was a draw mate.
Btw how the f**k did that dirty grub Santalab stay on the pitch.
Second week in a row he needs to buy a lotto ticket.

Whoops brain not working cheers for the reminder. Disgusting from Santalab two tackles this season that could have ended player's careers.

Caceras was very average I don't think I saw him play a forward ball all night. He's a good dribbler but doesn't offer much more.

Took me about five years to go from thinking so much potential to give up on the idea that he would ever change. Only conclusion I could draw - was that he had the feet of a great footballer but not the brain.

His stats for us were unbelievably dour.
The shambles we were actually served to protect him (and Fitz) though I think. Saved him from being exposed. But games up now, I'm sure he trains well, but in a word, he is ineffective.

He's just not capable of even considering a killer ball. Whenever he receives the ball his body position forces him backwards, he was the player who was supposed to be creating everything for City and their two goals didn't even involve him in the build up.
