ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.I may be losing it.

I'm buying the yellow army membership (duh) and we were told that we could "add on" the 2 Northern Sydney games if we wanted to.
The only way I can see to add them is to buy the 3 game Northern membership.
BUT
The 3rd game in this includes any game at CCS.The YA membership includes the 11 games at CCS,so why should I be forced to pay for one that is included in my YA membership?

Why isn't there just a 2 game add on that gets us into the 2 Northern Sydney games?

Either I'm confused as shit or they've screwed us over, again.

There is also nothing I read that says the 3 game Northern package would allow you entry into the active support bay. It's a general membership package. Hopefully it is an oversight and the Club will offer a 2 match Active Support package for the North Sydney 'home' matches.

Club got back to me.The "North metro add on" was hidden in some corner of the site ;)
But there is no specific active add on.So yeah...

It's also located under the tickets section of the site and not memberships which seems stupid.

As it stands we don't have a designated active bay for the two sydney games. Not sure if we had allocated seating or all GA for the game at NSO last season (if someone could refresh my memory, that would be great). If it was all GA and they were planning on doing the same this season, that could go some way to explaining why there's no option to purchase active for these games.

f**k these f**king FFA active rules. Ugh.

Thanks. Found it. Being a member I'd never looked under Tickets before. So it is $35 for the two matches and includes the bus trip.

. same section as the official supporters club membership for those that were looking for it ... not very intuitive to have to look under 'tickets' when you are looking for a 'membership'

. club has received feedback ... which includes the likelihood that people will not buy the north metro add on as part of their 'membership' because they couldn't find it

. but perhaps that is what they want ... i can imagine "coasties won't support us" ... but "we drew a lot more people to these games that weren't members" ... even if they were members but couldn't work out how to buy tickets when they went on sale / as part of their membership :tinfoilhat:

. oh and i also couldn't find a way to pay for my membership and my husband's in the one transaction as we have been doing since the beginning of time ... if anybody has found a way to do that - and avoid the additional transaction fee ... it might be worth posting up here so others can follow suit

. interestingly we could buy two supporters club memberships in the one transaction but not renew two memberships   o_O

It looks like the Northern Sydney move hasn't dented membership numbers:

I've just taken a look at last year's thread and that would put us somewhere over 2,800.

It's not just membership numbers that matter of course. The really important thing is to get bums on seats on match day. I really hope that happens. It would be great to see 12k. or so at home instead of half that for games like us vs. someone relatively uninteresting like oh, say, the 'nix or the Glory :innocent:

I just called the number & booked over the phone & they put it through as one transaction therefore avoiding the second charge.
Didn't bother asking while I was on the phone on why it was that way.

So approx. 50% take up to get your same allocated seat in the 4 week allotment.
Considering all the new members last year I'd say this is a disappointment as half have possibly decided not to renew @ least for the same seat anyway.
