A family membership paid for more than 3 months ago and they can't manage to send a plastic card more than one day before the game (if it turns up tomorrow)...

No card in the mail today

There was the following email this evening though:

We understand that while the majority of our Members have received their Membership cards, some Members are yet to receive theirs in the mail. The following information is for those who have not yet received their Membership cards before the first match on Saturday 11th October 2014.

We sincerely apologise for the delay in these cards reaching our Members, and have been informed by Australia Post that these have been sent in batches so most remaining Member Cards will be received in Fridays mail. If your card has not reached you then, you will be able to collect a ticket to obtain entry to the game. For those with Reserved Seating, you will be supplied with your Reserved Seat details.

Ticket Collection Points

Western Side: This ticket collection point will be open from 2:00pm and will be located under the marquee outside the Ticketek office. Please follow the directions on the signs outside the stadium to ensure a smooth collection process.

Dane Drive: This ticket collection point will be open from 3:15pm and will be located on Dane Drive near the pedestrian crossing. Please follow the directions on the signs outside the stadium to ensure a smooth process.

We always f**k it up but that's part of our charm. It's not Aussie Posts fault we mail out with 1 or 2 days to go! Recky worked in the office as a unpaid helper and reckoned they didn't have a clue.
Lovely people but rudderless.
Carly says we have cracked 5100 already.....now that is fantastic.

That is bl**dy awesome... Comparatively the membership drive has been significantly less visible this year, than last year AND we're coming off a significantly worse season... It's a long way to 10000, but considering the amoung of people voicing their sincere doubt that we'd even get near 5000, a couple of months ago, I'd qualify 5100 as a relative success

Paid months ago for reserved seat season ticket ... still not in the post - the last mail day before the game! Just have to queue at the club marquee hours before kickoff I suppose, missing pre-game drinks, and after travelling 450km to support my team.

I don't know if it's too late, but if you call the club, they'll send you an e-ticket so you don'thave to queue

Nothing worse than entitled whingers, saw one today tearing strips of a pour 15 yr old kid at a burger chain for getting the order wrong.

a small under resourced club had issues with the manufacture of some plastic cards which means you have to press print on an email. Wow what a tragedy!
