ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

LOLZ Fish!
Snow cones would be awesome, especially alcoholic snow cones! :p

I'd be more happy with Skoko that Yorke though.

same, though from different angles Yorkes appeal will be far greater both on and off the pitch to some, Skoko would be great but Ill wait and see what transpires

Would definitely rather Yorke than Skoko, Skoko is a top player but not exactly a heroic Socceroo, not many people have heard of him, would still be miles ahead in our leagues but alas, Yorke would be much more of a marquee...

Melbourne would be pissed tho :p

Any socceroo other than Holman is heroic! :p

Either way, both players would be fantastic investments, I just tend to lean toward the idea of bringing Australian players back to our shores, especially when they've still got some life left in 'em.

It's brilliant that we got Vid and Aloi$i back, bringing back Skoko aswell.. well he may not be as high-profile, but the quite achiever and it says something for the Mariners to have power to lure back socceroos.
Next up? Chippers and 'Arry at some stage! :p

Harry Kewell, wow, he'd keep Hughesy and the other physios flat chat like a lizard drinking. Harry's missus is seriously cute, too.

Snow Cones, Fish, you are a muppet of the highest order, in the Kermit/Miss Piggy/Gonzo category.

Does anyone here actually think that even one good year from Dwight Yorke would have anything other than a positive impact on our team? Yes, it is a risk, but so was Vidmar, and I reckon he has been a great help to Wilko and Boogs, in particular. Yorke would also keep crowd figures up, generally regarded as a good thing.

And look how much media attention he/we got just over a rumour, which was more than likely from here or 442.

They are definantly not sydney slops. It just shows how incompetent Sydney are. Look at the coach they employed! Once he gets his hands on Sydney good and proper and is not working with Branko Culina's set up, you watch him stuff it up and lose his cool. I feel a nostradamus moment coming on!! I can see Kosmina and Breeze toe to toe froth coming from the mouth of the SFC coach and Breeze showing him a red card!!!
Yeah you are right....a coach who wins adelaide the premiership year 1, makes the grandfinal with adelaide season 2 and then rescues sydney season 3 is a terrible coach ???

You have no idea, Brankos set up had them struggling at the bottom, kossie went in and played a different style using different players and sydney made the finals, almost claiming the premiership. He has now signed 4 good players in Aloi$i, colosimo bridge and musilak.

But despite all that, he is a bad coach ::)

Did i say he was a bad coach? Or did i say he will stuff it up?
Branko's results from the ACL prove that his setup could work and if he was given the chance with Bridge at the front as Kosmina was his results would have been different.
Sydney didn't nearly claim the premiership, the Mariners nearly lost it. V4 is the only thing that will prove Kosmina's worth.
(Not that i care either way i can't stand the guy. Thank God for Lawrie!!)
You might as well of said he is a bad coach.

If we didnt have lawrie i would be more then happy to have kosmina as his record speaks for itself....although it doesn't seem good enough for you

premiership 1st season, grandfinal 2nd season and rescued sydney 3rd season and got them to the semis when it looked like they would be fighting it out for worst team in aus. I wouldnt mind that coach if we didnt have lawrie.

Winning is more important to me then the way they win, and kossie gets results.

p.s Its not like we dont already play long balls ::)

LOL, I'd take Kossie, except for the fact that he's a wanker, oh well.
I don't think that'll EVER happen
