Gonna throw a random name I have fondness for from the NSL days... Gary Phillips. What's he up to nowadays?
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Still a greyhound jockey I believe….Gonna throw a random name I have fondness for from the NSL days... Gary Phillips. What's he up to nowadays?

Coaching WSW NPL2. Wouldn't have him in front of Monty, Cahn or Hutch but would be a good assistant option - especially with the young defenders we have - or taking over the NPL if Monty gets promoted. One option that I don't think I've seen mentioned (although I could've missed, for sure). How about Pat Zwaanswijk? Last I heard I think he was on the WSW staff.
He has a good knowledge of the club, seen the club at it's best and has been around the A-League for quite a while now. Would assume he has some decent contacts in Europe as well.
The same Patrick Zwaanswijk who sued the club? One option that I don't think I've seen mentioned (although I could've missed, for sure). How about Pat Zwaanswijk? Last I heard I think he was on the WSW staff.

yeah....but we have precedent in welcoming people back (McGlinchey)The same Patrick Zwaanswijk who sued the club?
He's a good coach but still green and I agree that all 3 are ahead in the logical pecking orderCoaching WSW NPL2. Wouldn't have him in front of Monty, Cahn or Hutch but would be a good assistant option - especially with the young defenders we have - or taking over the NPL if Monty gets promoted.
After he was fired. thats a passThe same Patrick Zwaanswijk who sued the club?

That's beautifully put. They were awful. After a stellar performance in his courses (according to Rudan when he was a commentator and fellow student) didn't Pat have a not very successful season with the youth Squad?

Ernie Merrick. He’s an old school coach, bringing the same Scottish spunk & success as Lawrie McKinna.
