ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hello all from a VERY quiet Fortress Broadway this evening.

After watching with interest the development of this thread, I'd like to make the following comments:

1. I first heard this chant in Bay 16 during the Olyroo qualifier. It was brilliant.

2. I will admit that when I tried this last weekend, it was flat. When people whose opinion I trust, like Aaron, Jimmy & Alicia all have constructive criticism about the same chant, you know that it hasn't been done right

3. People complaining that we nicked from other clubs; pfffffffffft, get real, you mugs. If I or anybody else hears a chant at an AUSTRALIAN game, then I/we have every right to use it for our club as a new chant. I had NEVER heard it anywhere else, so the laziness claim is just ridiculous.

4. When you listen to the YouTube versions, you realise how good this can be. I know we can get it right.

5. As for originality, I have a stack of AFL songs in the memory bank that I have never sung as some of them are suitable for adult male company ONLY and others are quite long and take some serious learning. Some of these will get a run in coming months. Then we'll see who is plagiarising whom.

In summary, I can't wait to try this in our two legs against the Imperialist Scum from New Lambton.

mabye for those of you who dont live on the coast...
either way if you get what lens is got goin in that video it will be awesome
loco has been banned, albeit only short term ... seems to be a genuine Mariners fan but in 5 posts in 2 days he's used 3 to spread division between our fans on the basis of whether they live on the Coast or not. That sort of jingoism and personal disparagement will not be tolerated.

On this Forum ALL Mariners fans will be respected no matter where they live, be they fortunate enough to live on the Coast, live in Sydney, shudder even Newcastle, Grimsby, Tasmania, Bathurst, China, or wherever! They will be respected whether they have been a fan for 3 years or 3 weeks, and whether that stand in bay 16 or sit in 36.

Who do we sing for? ... the Central Coast Mariners!

It is easy to wave the ban stick but generally this is one of the most liberal HAL forums - we will keep it that way but early calls for the ban stick, the continual reflex response to obvious Trolls, and straying into personally negative comments (even if you are mates (we don't know that) will not help!
