ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

But that hasn't factored in General Admission which are the cheapest seats.
Feasibly, there could be another 1500 sold there as well?

@ FP - love your work!
No way I was counting the dots - would have been a true PITA ;)
My rough formula was around 500 for a full-ish bay or 2 half bays with the dregs filling the gaps, estimating another 500 for uncountable GA as there was at least those sort of number in the other categories. Probably add some hospitality to that.

My guess could be overly generous but I still reckon comfortably more than 1500 now.

I've been to most pre-season matches at Pluim and some in Sydney over the years. Not surprisingly, in spite of the expense, this will be multiples of the usual attendance.

Could be totally wrong...but on the site gold was the most sold, you’d safely gues that the bulk of sales will be to members and given the better seats are really not that expensive... I expect the GA sales would be under 500.

So if I had to wager I’d come in at 1800 odd.

Right back at you YC

Yeah everything else is def not much more than 1500, but I’m olny estimating GA as not being that high. But could be totally off base on that, no way of knowing is there?

USAIN Bolt will have to wait until Friday night to take the field for the Central Coast Mariners, but the sprinter has already recorded ‘outstanding’ numbers in the gym
“How good are Usain Bolt’s numbers? Oh, they’re scary,” joked Mariners head of performance Andrew Young.

Unsurprisingly, the records are related to the power Bolt can produce from his legs, which Young called “comfortably ahead of anyone else.”

Despite dominating on the force plate, Bolt is still far from ready to play 90 minutes, with Young saying “we have to work on his aerobic capacity and he knows that.”

Under Young’s supervision, Bolt was put through a special aerobic session on Saturday morning, running for extended periods with little recovery time.

The Mariners also revealed they’re aiming to hand Bolt a 10-15 minute stint in a trial game against a select team of Central Coast locals on Friday night.

Way to conflate a good idea with something that has zero connection. They’re not going to spend their marketing budget on having additional young players on the bench, nor should they. Pull it from the marquee fund you say? But that would hurt Melbourne and Sydney?

The ignorance and arrogance surrounding the commercial realities and survival of Australia’s smallest and only regional club never fails to amaze. And beyond absurd in the face of our youth record and policy to keep trying to tar us with that brush.

The only winners here are 442 so they can cash in on another Bolt article.

Yo !! ............. the other side to your argument fp. Not the funding bit blah blah blah ........... the bolt vs young player promotion bit.

My sentiments exactly and I am uplifted to read I have the same aspirations of such an esteemed football identity :vhappy::vhappy::vhappy:.

Unfortunately ........... reading the article it also made me realise how ............ to use fp’s terminology .............how zero connected he was to ccm’s intentions, situation .......... whatever. :(:(

But ............ 442 are not the only winners are they ............. Ccm once again realised free advertising and brand identification :tv:.

Whooooooo Haaaaaaaa !!!! ........... unicorn away :pirashoot::pirashoot::pirashoot::unsure::unsure:

I just love how the Bolt vs Giving Npl players/Aussie youth a go argument is actually targeted against the team that gives more NPL players and Aussie youth a go than any other team in the league.....

Does Kurz realise he is allowed to recruit and play youth without a remit from the FFA??

Exactly. No ones stopping you from fielding a whole team of youngsters Kurz. But instead by all means punch down at the biggest promoters of youth in the whole country because they found a way to successfully leverage ONE trialist, that could be the difference between us barely surviving or thriving to give the next generation of Mile's, Wilko's, Matty Ryans and Rogic's their pathway.

Wanker.

I agree with Kurz. There are too many re-cycled HAL players.

New rules -

Each squad must contain 4 players that played NPL or lower last season.
Each squad must have a minimum of 12 players in the squad who are 22 or younger.

I wonder how many squads fit these rules ;)

Over to you Marco
