ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I can tell you he is the boxing coach at the training facilities and trains the players in mortal kombat thrice a week.

Yeah heard he was training Heffo back to fitness.

His bro (Dean) is usually at the games as security and once threw Jesus out for chucking beers around. Big scary looking dude but a Gentleman if you keep your manners.

For those who know little about boxing Troy was one of the best fighters that Australia has ever produced (far superior to Mundine). Dean was much more limited technically but hard as f**k and gutsy like all the Walters boys.

Yer guys Dean I know was the H'weight Champ of Australia while next Guy was the Commonwealth Champion and also Troy at Jnr Middle. Just trying to locate them as I do know them.

When are the trials on as I have some people interested in trying out  - saw some matches in Canberra when the Kanga Cup was on - Anyone play there?

Barry - Dean works security at Terrigal hotel.

I was down at Kanga cup this year thousands there and a good time had by all, some future mariners there I'd say. CCF have had their trials now and all teams are picked.

Troy Waters once fought the oustanding Sugar Shane Mosley for a World Title, and was very competitive. He was the best boxer, technically, of the three Waters boys; Dean, Troy & Guy.

To say that he was far better than Mundine is rubbish. Mundine, despite the hatred that follows him, has actually proven himself to be one of the best all-around athletes that this country has produced (others include Rex Mossop, Heather Mackay, Les Darcy, Nova Peris-Kneebone, Michael Cleary).

I'm not sure if many thought he would beat Green, and he DID. What more does he have to do for people to recognise him (forget about being a wannabe Ali for just a minute)?

Dean is a good bloke, and DO NOT mess with him; he is tough as nails.
