ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Scheduling is always average. If it were good there wouldn't be any 4 or 5pm kick offs in summer.

Tbh you probably couldn't have paid me to watch jets vs roar or city vs WU even if it was the golden slot of the weekend. Its about as enticing as Exeter vs Oxford in the FA cup this weekend.

Monday night MacArthur looks to be a holidays thing as they have all 3 home games across December/January on Monday nights - us, Adelaide, Wellington.

When you aren't teachers pet it will always be other clubs getting favourable timeslots. I doubt RPs parting shots did anything to help. There's probably a bit of juggling for ACL weeks as well - not something we will have to worry about next year.

I'm not convinced that those 2 get any more people regardless of the time. They couldn't fill an all Melbourne grand final - the only lower GF attendances were the COVID impacted ones.

Or maybe they just needed to get the day release back to Tarneit before curfew 🤷🏻‍♂️

I recall Shaun saying he had to battle to get CCM the timeslots they wanted and he would often lose.
Broadcaster calls the shots and to be fair to them their job is to do what they can to maximise viewers. This happens everywhere.
It will never change we just need a fan focused back office fighting for the club which I fear we no longer have.

How in the hell did WU even win that?
WU have gone under the radar a bit this season (some worldies aside) and turned into a decent side with a bunch of promising young players. Going into this season I thought JA would be one of the first under pressure but he has them firing now

I see WU and Adelaide as teams now reaping the benefits of young players now having had enough A League experience to start shining. Alagich for an example is having a very good season and it’s probably his third now. Just look at us, it took Faz, Niz and Max a few seasons of experience to start excelling. That’s why we need to look after Eames and Co for a few seasons before they take the comp by storm.
