Hopefully they won't be postponing our game as there is not enough notice:
From the Terrorgraph
ADELAIDE United have asked Football Federation Australia to postpone some of their A-League games so the team can focus on their looming Asian Champions League semi-final.

United last night advanced to the semis with a 1-0 victory over Japanese champions Kashima Antlers at Hindmarsh Stadium.

The Reds will now face Uzbekistan outfit Bunyodkor over two legs on October 8 and October 22.

Adelaide coach Aurelio Vidmar said today the club wants some of its domestic fixtures postponed.
Adelaide have A-League games scheduled on October 3, October 17 and October 26. "Certainly there is going to be a big look at postponing those games or some games if we can,'' Vidmar said.

"It's going to be a pretty hard ask. Whenever the situation rises that we can have a big gap in between games, that would be the best option for us.''

If it is proposed next week, no chance due to work.

Would have thought it be to late for the FFA to change next weeks match.

Well I hope the FFA tell them to get f**ked!!!!! They are supposed to be professional athletes, if this happens its a f**king disgrace. Imagine Fergie saying to the FA we can't play Chelsea this week because we have go to Italy to play Milan on Wednesday. Harden the f**k up Vidmar you pussy

Poor attitude Razorback, I honestly think we should be doing all we can to help Adelaide out.  This is the first time EVER an Australian team has gotten this far in any world football competition (unless you wanna count South Melbourne's jaunt).  Not that it matters now, because they've been drawn at home for the first leg.

Say this was us at the exact same time next season and we had to play at home on Saturday to Sydney or Newcastle, away to Sepahan in Iran on the Wednesday, then back it up on the Sunday away to Wellington or Melbourne - we'd be asking for all the favours we can get.  Remember, Iran/Uzbekistan are a lot more hostile, a lot more different, and a LOT further away than Italy is from England.  There's probably 30 (at least) direct flights a day to Italy from England..... we have to take a minimum of three flights totalling 56 hours to get to Uzbekistan.  Y'dig??

seriass you comin to adelaide? asia is gonna be sooooooooo good!!!!!
i like razors attitude as in harden the f**k up but in this case i'd actually give some sypathy like serious said we ve gotta go thru this next year
But our players seem to find it difficult enough to play twice in 6days and stay injury free.
I feel next year we will really struggle with the Aleague comp for a patch
