Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

It begins.

That was a massive result. I am just so happy (in particular) for Alou as I've seen flashes from him this year but tonight it all came together. That first goal was unbelievable skill - jumping away from goal and then directing the ball into the top corner. Second goal was all about the timing and the bravery but what a great ball from Doka.

Finally... Redders' save from Brian K is possibly the greatest save I've ever seen. I'm amazed the commentators had nothing to say about it afterwards.

Only Ref you can talk to, was disgraceful how he wasn’t punished. Wifey was keeping time and they didn’t appear to play the full injury time. It was like Kersey called full time to avoid giving Grant the double yellow. Should be looked at on my opinion.
I watched it on paramount, and it was 90 + 7 when he blew fulltime, when 6 were added on, so there was definitely more time then necessary injury time, not less

Thanks I wasn’t sure, seemed to go pretty quickly at the game and Alou want down for a little while.

Boy am I glad I went to that game! (Sorry Meerkat not rubbing it in!) Really exciting and entertaining.

True grit and commitment seen in the first half, crunching tackles with full commitment. It worked too, SFC started to shy out of 50/50's.

MoM for me was our 18 y.o. keeper who continues to improve. As well as some great saves he did a lot of shouting and directing.

My boy Kuol I knew you'd come good eventually, all the running and hard work over the past few games has paid off. The old Alou is back with his athletic mongrel fight, I love it. Wasted some chances but 2 really good headed goals. The first one was top notch.

Just over 6k crowd. A lot of members who sit near me didn't show.

Kudos to Jacko and assistant for some of the coaching during the game today. One particular moment they were directing Alou where to run to create space for Doka to run into and draw defenders away. Great to see.

Everyone on the team fought hard for each other today, proud day for the team.

You can rub it in.. totally fair!!!! Trust me, I was regretting my life choices by the second half.

Can’t ignore the fact though, that we only seem to win when I’m not there.. do I risk turning up on Friday… 😬😳

Steady. I care!!
Kid is an excellent link between midfield and the front third, and while wasn’t missed on the scoreboard tonight, has a lot to offer this season.

He has a niggling issue, had a scan during the week. Results will be back Monday/Tuesday.
He does have quality for sure but also is harder to spot than Casper the Ghost for huge chunks when he has been trusted a starting spot. I understand why he gets a start sometimes coz he looks great at training with his nice first touch but he is too green for me at this stage. Love to see him come on for 20 mins cameos because he is always excellent off the bench.

And to complete my trifecta of posts as I rewatch the game - Paull was fantastic tonight, one of our best. DPC too. Rapt for Alou who seems to have some of that swagger back.
Eames is going to be some f**kin player I tell ya what.
I must confess, my negativity train fell off its tracks tonight when I genuinely found myself thinking.. “just wait til Jan when we have some injuries back fit, a signing or two.. we’ll be pushing for top 6!” 😂

Agree with your comments. Anybody would think you know a thing or two 😉
