ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tour of Duty

I think it is time we made a mariners fans tour of duty. Most clubs do one these days. 1 away trip each year where as many fans try and get there.

I know alot of people in the past have headed to bris/GC. But, IMO we should try and have an organised one.

The draw comes out this week. That may make a big impact on where it is, though I think this year, is probably a good year to make it heart. Heart will play us at swan street i think, even if they pay some games at the dome.Victory will also play us there im sure, but i think most who would travel have probably been to a vic match and hence heart may be something different.

Hopefully it is at a good time of year to maximise numbers, but ill definately be heading down for heart match against us, has the added bonus that, for me, despite aloisi and colosimo and faulty bolty, i wont hate them until the game has started. So going to tardistan will be bearable.

But regardless. A toud of Duty, y whatever name we want to call it should be on the cards i think. Wherever it is

We are looking for the away fixture after the October school holidays, we had a great time in Brisbane last year and wouldn't mind going back there again. We had 22 on our trip, so plenty of alcoholic refreshments were purchased.

this sounds great. I have only been to our away games in nsw. It would be great to get about 40 people to fly on the same plane and to stay at the same hotel and to have a few social drinks together and of course to celebrate the great win. Alot to organize but im willing to help.

add our boys on their end-of-season trip, the 3-0 win and you had an awesome evening

the stretch limo ride back to the gold coast was pretty tidy as well

I know a bunch of us are crossing our fingers for two away games in a row....melbourne and adelaide...and having an epic two week long tour of duty!

But yeah, I'm keen for a Melbourne one. They are always the best...

Take me to the Royal Melbourne, yeah? They know what Skittle Bombs are anyway!

Would be best to see the draw first but either Melb team would be good. There is a hat store there that you can spend a few hours in.

Yeah draw is the big consideration. Personally would prefer heart.

Dont know if the suggestions are true, but on tard forum the away bay is very poorly positioned, but hopefully doesnt have the no standing gradient that some bays have.
