ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The big no Gosford game gaps are:

Friday 10 September - Saturday, 2 October 2010 - Sunday, 21 November 2010 (ie. one game in 11 weeks)

Looking at that second gap for away trip chances - there is no weekend away game we can really get to in that whole break - except our away 'home' game. (Personally the NZ game is all the wrong time for me, but I am eyeing off a leisurely road trip up to QLD to see Gold Coast v Reds on Sun 17/10 and then of course stay for Roar vs Mariners Wed 20/10.)

Any ideas now for TOD, or just away trips?

The two most obvious ones are the Saturday away games: Wellington in November or Adelaide in January.

tentatively I would be looking at doing these myself regardless:
Week 7 Sunday, 19 September 2010 Gold Coast United vs. Central Coast Mariners Skilled Park 5:00pm
Week 14 Saturday, 13 November 2010 Wellington Phoenix vs. Central Coast Mariners Westpac Stadium 7:30pm
Week 25 Saturday, 29 January 2011 Adelaide United vs. Central Coast Mariners Hindmarsh Stadium 7:00pm
Week 26 Friday, 4 February 2011 Melbourne Heart vs. Central Coast Mariners AAMI Park 8:00pm 8:00pm

Being a Thursday night means taking two days off work though. which not everyone will be able to do.

The round 26 game means one day off to get down there.

Oops... Round 26 sounds good for TOD. Round 1 sounds good for those who can make it ;)

If we are serious about a tour of duty the only game i can see being good for most people is us and the reds on 29/1 this is a saturday night game. Not the best game but most of our other games people we need to take time off which is hard for most or is for me anyway. Jetstar have a flight leaving syd at 5.30 friday night and return flight on sunday night at 7.30 at $109 each way. If people are interested i am willing to organize flights and accom. please let me know asap. It wil be good if we can get about 30 people to travel and stay together and drink
