ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Edgy first 15 minutes for our boys.Palestine pressing high and hard.Souttar's trusty head has given us the goal we needed but now Strain off injured and Miller on.

Still difficult for our boys to penetrate the Palestinian defence. We look tentative with our passing and lots of turnovers giving Palestine chances to attack.

Did Miller have a sterner test in defence this game? How did he go?
Yes he was sorely tested especially in the second half-he did well but was beaten several times but tracked back to tackle or harass the Palestinian winger and FB who worked well together. Both of these players were quite physical and there were several near flashpoints between Lewis and the Palestinian players but the referee intervened pretty quickly to defuse the situation.Overall I thought he had a good game but was not as prominent in attack as he wasn't given the room. This was a great learning experience for him

He's not showing any signs of calming. Seems to be getting a shorter fuse if anything.

Irankunda's the same as Fazz learnt last year.
Doesn't need to change until it costs him something that matters. Sooner or later it will and then we'll see how he responds.

I saw Venables play for Chelsea against an Australian XI in1965 .He was a good midfielder and would have had more appearances for England but they had lots of excellent midfielders in the 1960s.

That bloody Iran match is still a sore point with that pest pulling down the goal nets and we lost our momentum.
