    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Who do we currently have up front who would be ahead of him? McLaren, who else?
Mclaren Daggers Taggers Duke

Arnie won’t go for new blood at such an important time, needs to stick with those who know the system

Cummings has been good but not great but is good shout on changing of the coach

Playing Mooy after no football and he’s old now is a massive worry

Garang and Alou should be included in the world cup squad if we somehow made it

Maclaren struggles when we don't dominate. I'd play a front 3 of Duke, Cummings & Boyle. Daggers Tlio and the Kuols can be on the bench. Each of those players can make things happen . Leave Maclaren altogether- he won't score against good opposition though can bang them in against Chinese Taipei & Nepal.

I can understand Duke more over Mclaren, Duke may not be all that flashy but he’s physical, he wins contests and offers something different, in international football I don’t think you can have Mclaren be completely missing for 93 minutes in the hope he gets a 94th minute tap in.
Really feeling for Birraz and Cummings, don’t know what more they could do.

Taggart shouldn’t be there in recent form, Duke arguably shouldn’t be, Redmayne absolutely shouldn’t. Favourites to the very end - surprised he didn’t take Grant tbh.
Spot on, it’s like if he dropped a few and made changes then that would be admitting you got it wrong. He has to live and die by his decisions. I think we can make it to the Peru game but winning that one will be a tall order.

Atkinson——Sains——Rowles—Davidson

Hrustic——-Mcgree——Stens——Goodwin

My choice based on form.

Subs:
* Duke for Dags to chase/close out game.
* Boyle for Maclaren
* Mooy for Macgree/Stens
* Leckie for Goodwin
* Irvine for another mid
* Rogic for whoever

However I believe he might start with the players I’ve chosen as subs and do it the other way around.
