Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Nabbout told the jets he would give them the first chance to bring him home and now Lawrie says he didn’t even contact them about a move before signing with Victory. It must suck to give a player a chance to jumpstart their career and then not have them involve you in contract talks...
Rallis is the biggest c word going. And I feel a little better about losing Millar to the jest now.
Game is all business no family nowadays.

Yeah dumb by Naboutt and the agency.

They were always going to MV for family and money.

Just a simple heads up is all it takes. We know what we promised but it’s more about family with the new bub. So simple.

That’s what ticks the fans off and Laurie not affraid to let the world know he was done wrong. Even though he’s prepared to do the same. Which is the bit I love. Some old fashion karma

So Joey Champness has terminated his contract with the scum now to continue his chase of a rap career....
I’m blown away, this is incredible. Officially the funniest aleague moment to date and I’m so glad it’s happened to the scum. What an absolute moron.

Don't know which is more amusing, Champness chasing a rap career , or the Jets signing him for next season on a upgraded contract.o_O

McBreen appointed Newcastle Jets youth coach
Daniel McBreen has been appointed head coach of the Newcastle Jets youth team.

The Hyundai A-League Championship winner and Joe Marston Medalist has been coaching the club's U/16 boys team since 2015.

In addition to those four years within the Jets academy system, McBreen has spent 12 months as an assistant coach to the Guam national team - a role the Burnley-born forward will continue in.

He is set to call time on his 15-year playing career after his Edgeworth team face Maitland in the NPL Northern NSW Grand Final this Sunday.

Then, McBreen will take the reins of Newcastle's youth team when they return to training in a fortnight, ahead of the upcoming Foxtel Youth League campaign.
“I’ve been involved as a coach virtually since I finished playing professional football, and I see this as a big step up in my development as a coach,” said McBreen, who is also the club's Community Liason Officer.

“To help guide boys from youth football to senior football will be a big challenge, but it’s one which I’m excited by.”

The appointment of McBreen means current youth team boss and Jets CEO Lawrie McKinna steps aside.

He will, however, remain involved with the team in an advisory capacity.

“For the second time in a year, I’ve sacked myself as head coach of the youth team,” McKinna said.

Looks like their newspaper is as dumb as their supporters.

Newcastle Herald has a picture of Nick Montgomery and Anthony Caceras fouling Vito Saba during Saturday’s match at Bankwest Stadium

the spoon will be returning to its' rightful home this season fts.
Don’t get too excited we only put 1 past them. I don’t think it will be a good year for Newcastle but we haven’t done enough so far to get ourselves away from them.
