I personally, just find it lame. I've never really liked the whole "mascot" thing, same with the cheerleaders thing.

And really, when I said it was f**ked...I was mostly referring to it being a Pelican. Cause really...

on a whole- would you describe sydney as a family club?
honestly I am asking!
I admit I dont keep so up to date with other clubs community involvements (like one or two do here), but from the gist of things they lack the same 'family' connection that we possess.
A mascot is only one of many positive family friendly aspects IMO.

genius. i found a photo the other day from being at the game he got introduced at, fairly confident i was the first person to have my photo taken with him. and by that i mean punch him in the head.
