ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Obama has talked the talk, now lets hope he can walk the walk.

Can't help but be cynical; they're the same constituents that voted George W Bush into power.

Quite, all this idealism is sad really. Can anyone come up witha list of at least 3 politicians who werent full of crap and false hope? Kennedy and who else?

These are politicians FFS. Vermin.

Just coz he isnt Bush, doesnt mean he will be any good, just not as crap. There is a difference.

With a democratic senate and congress, he has no excuses if he cant get things back on track. He has 2 wars and a farked economy to sort out.

Good luck

Today is quite possibly one of the only days that I have found no reason to be cynical about politics.  Kids in 50 years time will look back on this day in history class and marvel at the world they are now living in.

I am in no way American, but that speech from Obama...... that was nothing short of inspirational.  "Yes we can".

Kenya (Obama's dad birthplace) has just annouced tomorrow is a public holiday over there. They must be so happy.

I really hope all the racists are to obese & lazy to try & plot an assassination. I'm Australian and don't care about politics, but to see an African-American become president brings tears to my eyes after all the s**t that race has been through.

Go Obama!!!!
