ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

My thoughts exactly, away trans should have all rights to the game including active. This is punishing other teams not involved in the whole disaster. Just another APL cluster.
Maybe in Clownsends twisted world it's a strategy to force away fans into P- to drive his metrics up and get more ? ? ? ? out of them

. interesting little side note considering all the shit that has gone on in the last couple of weeks - i have been watching a few random mini-matches over the last few days ... including the sydney derby played before the WC break

. after Yengi scores - there seems to be a bit of a mini-pitch invasion from the RBB. OK so they don't make it to the playing surface but they are inside the fence line

. am i wrong in assuming that there were no sanctions imposed?

. 'fans' inside the fence line 'interacting' with the players ... interesting precedent if no sanctions were imposed or preventative measures taken

. the APL has given up on shooting itself in the foot ... far more damage can be done taking aim at more critical areas

From the games we have watched, there has been too much passive acceptance of that sort of thing and the increasing ripping of flares. Safe smoke is one thing (and I believe was sanctioned by APL to bring more visual spectacle) but flares are a whole other issue and should have been clamped down on long before that Melbourne derby imho. Sadly football will seemingly always attract an element of society who lack self control and common sense but that absolves the APL of nothing in its role in bringing the game to its current state and there is still no real evidence of it having genuinely learned any lessons.

I believe the rule states that if there is one bucket of sand present, they are all deemed invaders; otherwise, no worries, mate, crowd the players, all good! :D

The Cove been doing it for alot longer (years).

All in the name off fake safety of crowd squash. Not really to big of an issue when it’s celebrating with there players but you are correct that it has lead to entitlement that it is not something they can’t do.

Still big difference between celebrating and all out anarchy

The pitch invasion a few years ago by Sydney fans was laughed off and even applauded by some media, there's been far too much tolerance for it for a while.
