Last home game this chant was attempted with no melody which meant that people trying to join in couldn't tell which of the 4 "whoooah-whoah's" they were up to and it fell apart.

Even though the middle part of the bay was a little quiet (understatement) I thought the quality and variety of chants were very impressive. we gave Smeltz and Jesse Van Juve  a lot of stick and quite simply they got rattled.

Back of the bay was going off..............middle/gap filled with a lot of mutes. Front inaudible(no roof farken may as well have stayed in 16) - close up gap = noise

+1. Up the back of the bay was the best all night from the three points I tried out. Even if we have a small group. If everyone who actually stands goes up the back, we became _way_ louder due to the roof and all.

So I thought maybe the following songs could be used.

The good thing about eight days a week is the simplicity and fact that
lyrics run the whole way thru the song without a large gap.

The only problem with Can't buy me love is the guitar solo in the middle.
Again simple and effective, I'd be suprised if anyone in the bay didn't know this song.

I just walked in the door from work and for no reason the West Ham 'Chim Chiminy' song came into my head. I suddenly realised we could adopt it during games and sing:

WE ARE THE BOYS IN THE YELLOW AND BLUE

(Repeat)

Thoughts? It works well for the Hammers, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for us seeing as it's a simple song.

The majority from the bay dont read this forum, therefore the only way you will find out if something works is trying it.
