ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Start this off with a whom do you prefer and an explanation for those who don't want to dig around to work out who we will play. It's the highest ranked winner from next week end that will travel to bluetounge so most likely Melbourne, if they loose its Adelaide, could be Brisbane if both Brisbane and Perth win.

Having pumped both Adelaide and Melbourne this season either will be welcome but have a feeling that ange will have worked hard to counter Arnold's last move, therefore my preference is Adelaide

Any. Mariners can beat and has beaten all of them.

Agree.

We've proved that no other team comes close in quality. Only in luck. I've a soft spot for Adelaide and Perth, so would like to see them enjoy a GF with us. Would like to see off Drivebys, Tards, and Brisvegas in the semis. Don't care which of these we get.

Adelaide with their ACL experience are a good sudden death side (in spite of Valkanis) and Victory leak too much at the back.

I think the semis will be

CCM v Adelaide

WSW v Perth

with hopefully a Bluetongue CCM v Perth GF

Pretty sure FFA said a couple of weeks ago, unofficially but through media comments on possible final season games, that grand final would be in sydney if any of the (at that time) 4 NSW teams hosted

Pretty sure Allianz (SFS) is out as it already booked on GF day. Would look stupid booking home bush and having 25,000 show for ccm vs not wsw. So no other option than bluetongue!!!

I don't get it... What's with the Roar love? They improve over their appaling form for a couple of games and suddenly, everyone's expecting them to beat WSW. I know WSW is short some players but aren't they mainly missing from the front?... I see WSW as a very similar proposition to us (only not as good), meaning that their back row is strong and will ensure their integrity. So I don't see them losing to Roar. I don't think Roar has found the form so much as the better teams have all slumped back to the pack a bit in the last month or two. In saying that, I still perceive the top two as being well ahead of that pack.
That's not to mention that I think Adelaide is more unpredictable than constantly "poor", so they may pull a rabbit out of the hat and beat Roar.

So, I'm thinking it'll be something like:

BRvADE - Undecided but probably 2-0
VICvPER - 2-1 - With another potential for an upset obviously

WSWvBR - 2-0
CCMvVIC - 2-0 (A lot of 2-0 results here)

GF:

WSWvCCM
0-10!!! - OK, perhaps over the top, but probably something like 2/3-0 going on the last performance, which I suspect isn't that far from GF performance for both teams... Hopefully with our boys having improved their accuracy ;)
