Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The Sunnyside Tavern is pretty good for pre-game drinks in Scumtown.
10 minute walk from station, close(ish) to stadium.
Nice outdoor part and good food aswell.
That's where we usually drink before games.

sunnyside is way to far to go from the train station and then stadium

i suggest that everyone meet in the club inside the old grandstand - cannot get simpler than that

I'm more confident now than a couple of months ago that we can win this, but I'm still not sure.

With the added injury to macca the line up could be
          Danny
Pedj Boogs Wilko Heff
Elrich Jedi Porter Caceras
      Sash Mrdja

Bench: Hutch Bozza Ossie Simon Clarkey

Not sure if Boogs and Simon can or will play due to the Olympics, but i'm sure some one will correct me. Also i doubt we will start with porter but i feel with hutch and jedi in mid field we are very defensive but this maybe the way to go especially if boogs doesn't start. I think Porter can play a more high intensity football than hutch but i'm sure most of you will disagree with me because Hutch is good team leader. Anyway what do you think???

Hutch will start and be captian if Wilko dose not pull through, so no way Porter will start in front of him.

Of your starting line up, all in the back line bar Pedj are under injury cloud. So is Jedi and Mrdja.

Im very very worried about this game.

Is the NYL a curtain raiser to the A league for any or all matches? If so we may need some players to back up if the injury concerns are as serious as you say. Are boogs and Matty Simon available?????

If we can pull together our strongest possible squad, probably :

--------------------Vuks
Pedj/Clark----Boogs----Wilko----Heff
Elrich----------Jedi----Hutch----Caceres
----------------Macca---Sash

Bench - Bozza?, Clark/Pedj, Porter, Mrdja

There's still Osman that we can throw into the mix for defence for midfield too!

I really believe we have a great f**king chance at coming away with 3 points!

I'm waiting for the team sheets though.

The boys will be up for this 1 I have no doubt!

Youth League doesn't kick off for a few weeks yet so no worries there!

I just got my 'seat' on Proticket, and again they do the League thing - start at the try line and down the front - Away fans bay but Bay 11, Row A Seat 20!

Farken no way I'm going down on to the fence again - move over up the back!

Don't they know football fans want to see the game!?  Will be see the away game debacles repeated?

Spot on! Ticketek is no better though. Sick of ticking best available ticket and getting seats on the fence when I'm after something upstairs, especially when it is raining.

Booking online is the issue - if you can get to an outlet you can choose where you go.

Yeah right ... I just love driving to the Hunter and spending 4-5 hours of my life and $40 of petrol for the privilege to buy a ticket in a seat where I can farken see the game!

Covering all bases Brett?

If I had to put money on it, I'd go for a draw. Just saying this is hard to pick.

Got splinters yet? ;) ;D

Well I don't see many predictions in this thread...does that mean people aren't very confident or aren't too sure? What do we think folks?
