ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Only thing that lets our support down is the people who don't sing. Gotta say our away support at EAS is better than our home support. I think we'll go up there and give them a good run.

Away support at derbies is always greater than home support IMO

sigh

away support is always better.

those that dish out the cash to travel are usually the ones that make the most noise at home games as well.  and before anyone starts, no, i'm not having a go at those that can't afford to travel, i'm simply making the point that away games always has a core group of supporters that makes a lot of noise.

seeing the "camaraderie" want of a better word at our Last GF was what got me in
on this whole CCM operation, i love going to our matches partly for that reason, and go ballistic when the same happens at home, granted its not as often

Having gone to the Sydney- Scum match on Sunday, I can say that the Scummers only really come in numbers of any sort to Gosford where away matches are concerned. Looking over at the away supporter bay at the SFS, they had about as many people there as we normally get to Suncorp.

takes away our record for lowest 'home' crowd this year, playing 300km from home in a city where there was apparently a 'boycott' going on.

mind you, last time they set a low water mark for crowds they were sitting bottom of the league losing 4-0 to melbourne on a clear, dry night and went on to get within a couple of straight kicks in a shootout of meeting the tards in the grand final. so basically they've come back from worse before.

and this one absolutely sums them up

I just find it a bit funny that people who didn't go to the game are having a go at people that didn't go to the game...
