ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
kevrenor said:So to summarise:
Nikolai Topor-Stanley (so-called defender)
Donny de Groot (striker)
Sasho Petrovski (striker)
Angelo Costanzo (central defender)
Ljubo Milicevic (central defender)
And Branko Culina as the clubs new Technical Director to replace Ian Crook.
What Gary van Egmond builds ... Con will destroy!
COACH Gary van Egmond is adamant that Sasho Petrovski will be at the Jets when his A-League commitments with the Mariners are over, despite an offer from a Chinese club for the striker.
Petrovski, 33, signed a two-year deal with the Jets this week but has since been approached to join the Mariners' Asian Champions League group H rivals Tianjin Teda.
The Jets are already in danger of losing defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley, who is in Europe on a trial, but van Egmond said Petrovski was a definite starter.
"There was an opportunity in China for him, but he has signed a contract with us," van Egmond said.
"We are sympathetic to the fact that there was a chance he could have earned more money [in China], but the problem is finding a replacement player, and we do not have enough time for that.
"Had this been a month earlier we could have looked at something for him."
Meanwhile, the Jets have signed former Sydney FC left-back Nick Tsattalios to a six-month deal and are set to add at least two Newcastle-born players to the roster.
Mitchell Johnson, Peter Haynes and Joel Wood trialled this week and van Egmond confirmed two would be signed.
"We just have a little bit of red tape to get through before we release it," he said.
Johnson returned to soccer in November, quitting his job in the mines to join NSW Premier League club Leichhardt.
The 25-year-old midfielder graduated from the Australian Institute of Sport in 2000 and played more than 70 games in the former national league.
Haynes plays for Broadmeadow Magic and is community football officer for Northern NSW Football.
Wood recently returned from a short playing stint in Hong Kong.
In other news, Serbian Nemanja Simovic will not be offered a contract.

No, of course not :
I'd be happy if Sasho left for China after the group stages of the ACL, because
a) Jets get a transfer fee
b) We get rid of a player 90% ofJetsA-League fans hate
c) Gives us a player to use to qualify for the round of 16; and
d) To quote GVE "Sasho is not the sharpest tool in the shed"

I'm a bit worried to be honest. The guy has not played football in at least a year. Has Jardel written all over it.
