ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

New keeper for us to replace Zaluska.

If this guys performance against Aston Villa in the UEFA Cup last season is anything to go by he'll be better than Zaluska.

Also Burnley have already got Fletcher from Hibs and are now apparently after Andrew Driver from Hearts.

Discussions over TV deal

Motherwell, 15:58, July 7, 2009

Officials from all 12 Scottish Premier League clubs are meeting at Hampden Park to discuss a proposed new television deal.
Reports suggest a joint bid from Sky Sports and American broadcaster ESPN is being considered as the SPL looks for a new deal to replace the one it had with Setanta before it went into administration.

It is thought to be worth considerably less than the 125m four-year contract that was in place with Setanta, although there are believed to be other options open to the League.

An official announcement on the deal is not expected until the end of the week at the earliest with all 12 clubs required to vote on a formal resolution, which must be supported by a majority of at least eight to four.

tips time people:
I reckon the following:

Celtic
Rangers
Dundee United
Aberdeen
Hearts
Motherwell
Hibernian
Hamilton
Kilmarnock
St Mirren
St Johnstone
Falkirk

I reckon Mowbray will decimate the league first year in, Hibs are down so low because I reckon with the sale of Fletcher and O Brien they have moved backwards, this position could change based on new signings that may be made by them, same with Hearts and Aguiar, Berra and Karapidis and Rangers have barely done anything on the transfer market and have lost Barry Ferguson who may not be as good as he used to be but thats a lot of their experience gone

Tractor Drivers
Buddies

Accies

I have a feeling Celtic will pull away this season and the gap between Rangers and the rest will be closer (would love to see someone split the infirm even if it's not us).

3rd to 6th will be a close battle for the Europa league spots.

With the loss of McCarthy (and others) I can't see the Accies doing as well as last season and I think the tractor drivers may surprise a few much like the Accies last season.

Doesn't look like the arabs have been successful in getting an early release for our new keeper........I hope Banks doesn't pick up an injury between now and January.
